Yeah, I know, you don't get squat for them but the place I usually go to I was just there unloading a bunch of stuff and it's not close enough for me to justify making another trip up there again unless I have another load full of things. I was going to use Amazon for trade-in credit but they aren't accepting mine at the time. Any sites you guys recommend that buys CDs off you for cash? Preferably ones that pay for the shipping but I suppose that might be too good to be true so if not that one that's fair about the shipping?

CD selling to me is not even worth dealing with unless you have a particular rarity or collectible.

There is a reason you can't find places that want them. Its because no one wants them.

Its like trying to get rid of VHS tapes.

^And old style "fat" TV's. I was in a thrift shop the other day literally giving them away with a $10 purchase. Pick any size you wanted they had.

I used to take my cd's to FYE. I don't know that they still take used cd's though. Got a good deal of store credit that way.

DVDs are starting to become like that too. It's getting to the point where stores that accept them won't give a decent price unless it's been OOP for a long time or is in high demand.

http://www.secondspin.com/

I've never sold to them and know nothing about them other than they've been in business for a long time.

I usually trade CDs to my local used store, for store credit, and get games I can flip to Gamestop to maximize the little that the used store pays for CDs.

Ok thanks. Yeah, I know it's a longshot but I hate throwing things away even if I can make a few cents off them. I personally still do buy CDs of bands I like and want to support but otherwise just stick to buying individual tracks off the net if I don't see the worth of getting the entire CD. I guess I'm oldschool but I loved getting a new CD back in the day and combing through the lyrics and artwork of the cover while listening to it for the first time. I wouldn't even look at the tracklist and just enjoy it while reading or doing something so if something really stuck out to me I could look up what song it was on the listing.

If you don't need cash for them right away sign up for Second Spin and they will probably do a trade offer for Labor Day. They normally do combination trade offers and sales on holidays. Most CDs are only $0.05 each though.
