best: VF 4 EVO 10 bucks great deep gameplay and awsome quest mode if not the most balanced 3d fighter out there

worst: The Sims, I got tempted because this was 10 bucks turned out to not be my type of game...

Not to be rude but how could you not know if you like the sims or not, its been around for the longest and the same basic concept has been there for many years.

Since I also consider "The Sims" (GC) to be the worst of my purchases at TRU yesterday (of course, it's also the only one I've played thusfar), I think I know what he's saying. I had never once played the game. It's not that I didn't know it was out there....or the basic premise behind the game....it's one of the best selling game franchises after all. It's that last aspect of the game that gets the unsuspecting gamer: if the game was only about eating, excrementing, sleeping, working, and cleaning.....then how could the game be so freaking popular?!? (For the record, I had started the second level of the game....having moved out of the house from the character's mother.....who will apparently have to flush the toilet for herself now  ) All you do is queue up 5-6 things at a time for your character to do, and then fast forward time while he does them. The meters may say that the character is having fun, but rest assured, the person with the controller in his hand certainly isn't. :(

On the plus side, thanks to the TRU sale, it only took me $10 to find out that the game isn't for me....and I should be able to get that money back as a trade-in.

Best = Beyond Good and Evil
Worst = Perfect Dark..I guess? I mean, I walked away with 4 games, and all of them were good. I can't really say Perfect Dark, Klonoa (GBA), Guilty Gear XX, or Silent Hill 3 are the worst of anything, because they're all great games. I wouldn't buy it if I even had a doubt about it, which is why I didn't get Munch's Oddysee (GBA), Whiplash (XB) or any other of the questionable titles that I saw on shelves. I hesitated and ended up not buying KOF 2000/2001 even (then again, I have KOF2002 on DC).

I really had no idea what the sale was until today when I found the post. I usually skip over the first few posts on the deal board, because I figure they are stickies that Ive allready seen. How wrong I was. :(

For the record, The Sims on PC is popular, The Sims on consoles is not.

I only bought two games at TRU.. POP and BG&E. Both were my best purchases..

Best - Deus Ex Invisible War / Pinball of the Dead - Love both.
P.N.03

Worst - Virtual Tennis
( Not bad for $5, just not my fav of what I've picked up)

If that's Virtua Tennis for the DC you should to take that comment back now. It should be your favorite of those 3.

Best, all of them.

Sphinx & The Cursed Mummy (If it weren't for the save system, it would easily be one of my favorites, but still like it)

Beyond Good & Evil (Haven't touched it)

Onimusha Tactics (Not as good as FFTA, but still good)

only bought Mark of Kri for 7.50....have not played it yet but have heard rave reviews on it so i hope i'm not disappointed

best: final fight one
worst: Onimusha tactics (didnt open it )

but thats all i bought i think im returning Ot and getting somethin else, they have so much and i have so little money.

The only one of my purchases I feel iffy about is the GBA Santa game. I couldn't resist seeing it for myself and I'm pretty confident I can sell or trade it with no real loss if I find it utterly repugnant.

i just got my first deal today and going to another one tomorrow. i got a $35 GBA.

With all the sales happening, I usually go for quality instead of quantity.

I made 3 purchases for the CC sale and 3 purchases for the TRU sale. In regards to the TRU sale, I bought Prince of Persia, Morrowind GOTY, and Timesplitters. I haven't opened either one of them but I heard all 3 titles are good.

Worst:

XIII (XBOX) $10, didn't care for it though, traded it for $9 in credit, oh well, worth the gamble. Talk about great presentation meets thin and redundant gameplay:(

Best:

Rebel Strike Rogue Leader III (GC) $10, wow really like this game!! The on foot missions aren't THAT BAD!@! Plus it has lots of other things going for it!! Driving an ATST is suh, weet:)

Over all... I'm 2 for 4, oh well. Didn't care for Deus (also traded in...) but I like PoP.

So far: Picked up 4 games all XBOX

Beyond Good & Evil is really good....enjoying it thus far
Metal Gear 2 Substance was horrible....couldn't stand the camera and not a bit STEALTH person. Traded is last night.

Also have XIII & SWAT....yet to touch them though.

Best- XIII - I loved the style and the story

Worst- KOF:2000/2001 - I guess I've been spoiled by SF3: Third Strike, the Guilty Gear X/XX's, and the Cap vs. SNK's but I expected a little bit better.

Only: XIII (it's decent, i've only played it half an hour because i can't get through the first part... i'll probably try again later)
Best: Disgaea
Worst: Front Mission 3

The only 2 I got.
If you're unhappy with FM3, I'll gladly trade you for it.

The only two I picked up are Perfect Dark and XIII. Perfect Dark is great of course and XIII is pretty good. So i wouldnt wanna call it my worst purchase. Is BG&E worth picking up?

BG&E is a must-have, especially compared to XIII.

I bought a bunch of stuff from the sale. Almost one of everything they had for the big 3 consoles. I have only played one so far and for good reason. It's Links 2004 and that one bad ass golf game. Oh yeah I didn't touch any other sport game as well. I'm looking at what I got and I know that Superman Shadows of Apokoplis for the GC is the worst game. I don't even have to play it to know that. Other than the one I played here's the order in which I want to play them in.

1.) Metal Arms (PS2)
2.) SSX 3 (Cube)
3.) Stuntman (PS2)
4.) Sims (gC)
5.) Onimusha Tactics (gba)
6.) Deus Ex (Xbox)
7.) Red Faction 2 (gc)
8.) Sphinx (xbox)
9.) Super Man (gc)
10.) Freaky Flyers (PS2)

I also got a nifty Game cube cd holder for like $2.50

Overall though I think I got some pretty decent games I know the top 2 games are decent and I played demos of a few of them as well. Roughly $10.00 each... I can't complain too much. I know that a lot of those games are going for more than that for a used one so I'm satisfied with my purchase.
