Totally worthwhile post.

i know i dont have the list, but you can just go instore and ask to take a look at the list. There was some good stuff.

Yeah, come on Scorch, now you're obligated to type out the list.

Poor Scorch, I bet he really wishes that GameCrazy would do price drops more than a couple times a year.. Perhaps someone with a very local GameCrazy could go check out the list and write about any notable drops? Here's hopin for a list like the one last fall..

How does one obtain the list? The GC people wont let me look at it.

Ehh.. well. Scorch doesn't mind typing out the list. If the manager of Scorch's local GC hadn't bitched about price changes and hadn't "misplaced" the list, i'd be typing it out right now.

And GC drops prices on games quite often.

the list was 20 NEW and USED, about half of the list was GBA games which doesn't help much for anyone wanting to get new gba games because most all GCs are getting rid of all them.

Everytime we get a price change I always look for GameCube and 360 games since I only have the Wii and the 360, but nothing too exciting (at lease for me) was on either of those lists the cheapest a 360 game dropped to was $25

Scorch is right we actually get price changes every single day, most of which are about half a pages every now and then one of these comes along, usually corporate gives us some warning, or at least gives us New one week and Used the next this had no warning and is both.

I could try and get the list if scorch is having problems... i got it from my local store before but that was after the thread was up.

I'm doing this the lazy way. If I say 5, it's 4.99. If I say 15, it's 14.99. If I say 10, it's 9.99. You get the idea. Normally i'd do normal prices, but this is twenty pages long, so bear with me.

Yes, some prices are the same new and used. Yes, sometimes the used price is higher than the new. I will also be hitting submit after every console section, so hit refresh. The last section is the XBox, so I won't be done until that's posted.

Having the game in the price drop list doesn't mean they will have the game in stock.

The last round of price drops had Shadow Hearts PS2 new in the list for $8 but no GC had it, at least not the ones in my state.

It was 20 pages of price changes. Mostly all of the GBA stuff (except the newer final fantasy and pokemon games) should be 9.99 brand new. Most game crazy stores stopped selling them as of today. I got Ikaruga for 12.99.

Depends on how their boss is. That's what the list is for, for restickering. More than likely not, knowing how lazy some employees are.. but it'll ring up for the price I listed.

Negative. Employees do it the same way you customers do: a call must be made to that store.

So you're better off going in and looking for yourself versus asking over the phone, an employee seeing they have one for a cheap price, then lying to you.

You can special order anything you want for $6. He's talking about from another store.

You can have an employee at your local store and call around and get it transferred to their store from another local store, but if you want to search nationwide, you have to pay the $6 for the S&H and they'll search for it for you.
