This is a freebie site as in a site that you do some offers, mostly surveys (when I say "surveys I mean sites that try to make you sign up for more "offers") to earn points and pick your prizes. . This does work and rather easy! It only takes about an hour worth of work to get 20 points or so to order a points card. You can get 50+ pts without a credit card or referrals easily in about a week. Most offers you don't need a CC but some do. You

If you want to earn points faster the CC offers range from 5 points to 50 points per offer but you can easily earn enough points for a points card with out doing any CC offers.

I concur, theres already referall whores making their rounds in this thread. If anyone wants me to use their referal they best give me good incentive to do so, otherwise they can choke on a bagel.
 
It seemed fairly easy to get Wii Points when I signed up about a week or so ago, there are a bunch of things you sign up for.. you get points each one. Not as easy as the true.com thing, but you don't need a CC for most.

I'm just uneasy about giving my info out to like 15 sites for $20.

I only do True.com offer ones now a days, because they are alot easier than these type of sites.
 
Someone give me an example of what type of stuff we'd have to do and how many offers we'd have to sign up for to make like 20 points on the site.

For those that want to know, it doesn't look like it would be hard to get the points (as long as it works). It's set up like the other "this_isfree" sites that don't require credit cards. Mostly signups for survey panel sites, etc. that range from around .4 points to 2 points each, and then there are some other things that require more, but are worth more points like some psychic reading online that gives you 25 points.
 
well first off true.com was not easy for everyone, after repeated promises to get back to me the very next day the guy never did, and on top of that true.com charged me for a trial membership, and the xbox guy, without even the decency to even get back to me, didnt even send me my points despite the fact that i not only did a free trial, i had to pay for it!

as for this alot of sites laud completely free surveying but i am no longer willing to do anything involving giving my credit card or even paying a small fee, it just isnt worth the insanity, but if this site just has nice free questionares that you can get to earning a point card then great. only problem is after reading their forums and seeing the complaints, everyone is complaining after spending money to get certain points and not even getting approved.

I just did the psychic thing after people on the forums said that it worked for them. I'll update if it goes through.

Only cost me $2.02, so that's worth it for a wii points card :p.

EDIT: Yikes, got a couple big charges on my card (used paypal card) that are hopefully holds that will go away ($5.70 after signup and $19.19 after the psychic session)

I'll keep you all updated if they fuck with me.

Edit: Ok, this site is useless for anyone in Canada. You can only make 3.19 points without giving up your credit card (True.com - 18 points) or PayPal (SilverTag - 6 points). And 0.35 of that 3.19 points requires you to download an IE toolbar.

How much do we get from referrals?
Edit2: nvm, it's 0.50 for every member that makes more than 2 points.

since you were the only one who seemed to care let me know if you can get to a card with doing only full free surverys (NO CREDIT CARD INFO EITHER).

or if they make it so you run out of free offers before that happens and there are no new ones.
 
I only completed NON-CC offers. I just picked all the free ones and thats how I got around 21.50 points, with about 10 more which need to be approved.

waaaait a minute, all those were free and required no credit card? some of those dont sound like that and one of them i KNOW isnt that way (the true.com one).

That's just for Canada though. Americans have more offers open to them and so can get more points.

oh i wasnt aware of that, but as i am american that's good news, but i'm still waiting for someone to post if they did it with zero credit card surveys and zero money (or until buterbals responds) since it still seems like the idea would be to not offer enough free and no credit card related things to be able to do it (and not offer new ones either so you could continue to earn points off it).

I didn't know we could do multiple MB's or CPA, thought it was only do one of each and the others wouldn't count. Going to go do them now
 
They all say input real info...Prob just put the same info you put on the site to verify...

So use fake info on the website and use that addy for the surveys

Yup, there were 2 different true.com . On the one i filled out, I filled it all the way through until it went on asking for my credit card. I stopped then and said I had completed it. Minutes later I got approved for it.

Edit: I did get a confirmation email stating the following:

"A Message from Gaming Lagoon
_______________________________________________

Hello XXXXXXXXX,

You have requested xBox Live 1600 Points with details below. Your account has been deducted 20.00 points.
1600 xBox Points - (Type Yes in the box to request) : Yes


Your request should be processed within 24 hours, but typically in under a few hours."

Hopefully I'll get a response later today. I doubt it as its the weekend.

well that isnt different, its sounds like the same trial (they must have a deal with alot of suspicious free stuff people to get referalls) you just opted to stop before the credit card thing (as i'm sure that's not what the requirment was) and were lucky enough to get approved, i wonder how many others required credit cards and you just bypassed but hey if it works that it works, i just didnt think you could get approved by not even completing it.
 
I got my xbox live code at around 11:00pm pacific time. So this definately does work. :D

Edit: For some reason many of the offers I completed after I checked-out with my prize, were dissaproved. Did this happen to anyone else? Not sure if there was a huge amount of people doing them as well and after a while they stopped approving.
