The true source will come later tonight or tomorrow morning depending on responses. Have fun!

Forget this thread, PAD. Go back to your "Dud of Duds, Kerry Sports Gun He'd Ban and Practices Unsafe Shooting" thread.

And here we go...

This mainstream Democratic sounding list which arguably sounds like any of the above organizations actually comes from....

The Communist Party USA

Amazing how this list which sounds like House and Senate Democrats, John Kerry and representatives of his campaign, the editorial pages of the New York Times, Washington Post, the left's talking heads on CNN like Carville, Begalla, Fox's Alan Colmes is actually from American Communists.

Hell, it sounds like most of the people on this very board.

Now, how does it feel to sound like and share the beliefs of communists? I'm really curious.

That's no suprise. Democrats are unashamedly communist in pholosophy. They'll deny it until the end of time, but the facts remain: Equality to democrats means the complete redistribution of wealth, resources, and power. Only this will create an even playing field for all.

To put it another way:

From each his ability, to each his needs.

Name one democrat who challenges this premise.

And the Republicans appease the Nazis, which are the brutal enemies of the Communists.

Are you saying we should have another fucking civil war?

[quote name='Quackzilla']And the Republicans appease the Nazis, which are the brutal enemies of the Communists.

How in the fuck is calling democrats commies the same as proposing civil war?

You rationalise calling Democrats Communusts.

By the same rationality, Republicans are Nazis.

Nazis + Communists = Bloodshed
It's like putting Yankees and Rebels together.

Do you really believe that this country is run by Communists and Nazis?

Just shut the fuck up and drop it, okay?

The truly sad thing is that those are basically true.
Sure the language is harsh, but there is a lot of truth in those statements.
Who cares if its coming from the Communists or monkey men from Uranus? Bush is responsible for much of that stuff and I'm sure anyone with an internet connection could easily make a case for most of it.

AFLAC!!!

Avoiding it?

Hell, what's the point? I already said it sounds like the majority of people on this board. He just confirmed he agrees with communist talking points, I'm not shocked.

What's to avoid?

I'm not making fun of your name, I'm making fun of YOU. All your one line responses are the same thread after thread. You're truly like a duck.

AFLAC!!!

"All your one line responses are the same thread after thread."
So, let me get this straight:
You are attacking one-line responses that don't address arguments?

Isn't this whole thread about... Considering the source?

Boy, when you thought the Red smear days were over....

Joe McCarthy is smiling up from Hell at you, PAD.

Don't agree with someone's positions or opinions? Associate them with Communism, and then you never have to bother with the dreary work of engaging in a civil, honest debate.

Tell you what: I want you to take each of those positions, and I want you to argue specifically why you think each of them is erroneous, PAD. I want details. I want reasoned argument. Don't shake a Red in front of me. Engage me in dialogue.

Or was this just an attempt to force everyone who agrees with those positions into an uncomfortable silence?

Sometimes you really make me sick.

Wow, PAD, I thought you were smarter than that. Oh sure, I knew you were in lockstep with Dubya no matter how horrible a president he is, but I gave you a little credit for trying to present credible arguments usually.

Communists?!? Really... That's your big "Gotcha!" moment? Does this mean if the Klan supports Bush, we should vote against him too?

There are plenty of good reasons to vote for Kerry and you don't have to belong to the communist party to see that.

No, but it helps.

Hilarious! Seriously.

I mean, given that none of the points mentioned are about *communism* or even socialism, but rather, are about Bush's failures as President in both foreign and domestic policy, and none of the points address redistribution of wealth, which is usually the big thing most Republicans hate about Communism... what's your point?

If Adolph Hitler said the sky is blue, and you agree with him that the sky is blue, even if you don't agree with him that the Jews must be exterminated, does that make you a Nazi?

Not only have you shown a complete and utter lack of ability to draw logical connections, you've shown that you're basically just a McCarthyite, but not even smart enough to use the proper fear of the times to incite division and hatred. You want to use *terrorists* not *communists*.

Sheesh!

And I thought you were stupid *yesterday*. Every day, like your fearless leader, you astonish me by the depths of your stupidity. I wonder what you'll post tomorrow?

I seriously doubt that all terrorists love puppies, unless you're refering to the taste,

Pretty weak post PAD. Back to syllogisms 101 for you. Your posts are usually better, even when I disagree with them.

Even CTLesq (who usually posts pretty well, though I also disagree with him ) has avoided this thread thus far.

If I may say so, I see in this thread the kind of witch hunt mentality against Communists that would give McCarthy himself a hard-on.
Almost 50 years since that ignorant little shit died, and we're still spouting off his talking points. I thought we were past the days of such nonsense (at least when applied to Communists. "Terrorists," however, are another story).

I'm looking at that list, and I don't see anything overtly inaccurate. There could be some argument that Bush isn't actually privatizing medicare and social security... He's not, he's merely supported the idea.
Of course, he would gladly do so if he thought the public would let it slip through.

Otherwise, the list is pretty solid.
I'd like to see PAD try to disprove anything it says, instead of making a McCarthy-esque attack on the source of the document.

I have a feeling that challenge will go unanswered, though. Because the plain truth is, even though it was written by filthy Communists who are out to destroy God, Mom & apple pie, it's an accurate list.

Sorry Cheapy, I can't let this one go unchallenged....

1. Bush is destroying workers rights and outsourcing jobs instead of protecting the right to organize and creating new jobs rebuilding schools, bridges, roads and hospitals

there is no such thing as 'group' rights. Rights only belong to individuals. Bush is not outsourcing any jobs, companies do this - for various reasons which we may get into later. Bridges get rebuilt every day, local and state governments do this.

2. Bush is privatizing Medicare, Social Security and public education with phony reforms instead of enacting health care for all, protecting retirement funds and full funding for public education through college.

Bush has done none of these things. He has proposed the ideas, but Congress has the power to pass laws. Ted Kennedy wrote the education bill that Bush signed, so why do the dems fault him for this? He also passed the prescription drug bills, the unemployment extentions, the campaign finance laws that the Dems all wanted, then immediately turn around and claim they are bad policy. And since when is the government supposed to take care of our college education?

3. Bush is bankrupting the Federal Government with giant tax cuts for the very rich and super-funds to the military instead of securing the budget for human needs by taxing the rich and spending on human needs.

Freedom means taking care of our own human needs, not expecting the government to issue us bread, shelter, and a job. And correct me if I'm wrong, but all you itemizing taxpayers out there (you know who you are) got tax cuts, just like the 'super-rich' did. I even got a bigger deduction for dependants. Even thesome of the poor got tax credits.

4. Bush is rolling back civil rights gains instead of enforcing and expanding affirmative action to end racism in all areas of life.

How has he done this exactly? The administration never even took a hardline stance against the U of Michigan policy. The president has no power to just say "ok, affirmative action is now over". The courts have their place in our government also. Secondly, as discussed in previous threads, a racist policy such as affirmative action is NOT the avenue to end racisim.

5. Bush is curtailing women's rights and choice by undermining Roe v. Wade instead of upholding the right to choice and ending the gender wage gap.

yadda....yadda.....yadda.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

6. Bush is abusing immigrant workers in low-wage jobs instead of providing a clear path to citizenship and equal rights.

People who hire immigrant workers are the ones paying them low wages, Bush did not line them up and sucker-punch them. I love the colorful scenario, though. I can just see some secret service holding some poor mexican up while Bush delivers a roundhouse to the face. Apparantly they don't even listen to Bush because they obviously haven't heard his thoughts on fast tracking citizenship for immigrant workers and illegals, to the dismay of the republican faithful.

7. Bush is exploiting and ruining the environment by protecting corporate polluters instead of conserving our natural resources for the public good.

blah, blah, blah.......court system, court system, court system,........
*YAWN*

8. Bush's war in Iraq is a disaster for our security and economy. He is pushing for more preemptive wars and for first strike nuclear military policy instead of negotiations and cooperation utilizing the UN.

I'll just conceede this one. Spending billions in Iraq is not the way to help a fledgling economy in the States, but why does the UN deserve our cooperation again? Have they actually done anything worthy? Have the actually done anything without our support to begin with?

9. Bush is denying civil liberties and free speech in the name of fighting terrorism instead of repealing the USA Patriot Act and helping cities, towns and states fund firefighters and police.

It's up to US to fund our police and fire departments. This is not the federal governments fight against terrorism, it's OUR fight.
Who here hasn't had a millage increas in thei rcommunity, or two, or three in the last 4 years? This money has to come from somewhere. This is something the communists and Democrats fail to grasp. Money and resources have to be made before it can be collected to dole out to programs and special interests. Most think and act like it appears out of thin air. I have an idea, lets NOt send that money to the FEds in the first place, then we'd have more to keep and pad the police departments. Think about it...

10. Bush discriminates against Gays and Lesbians with a Constitutional Amendment instead of expanding civil rights and liberties for all.

Finally, the ONLY logical statement of the list. Every action we perform in daily life is based on discrimination of one thing over another. However, in this case, Gays have just as much right to enter into binding contracts as any other peron living in a free society. As if he had the power to decree an ammendment.... that's the funny part. Anybody know what it takes to get an ammendment passed and ratified ? Anyone?

[quote name='bmulligan']Sorry Cheapy, I can't let this one go unchallenged....

Thank you, bmulligan, for engaging in intelligent dialogue. While I can't agree that "yadda yadda" is a cogent argument, and I obviously disagree with you in many instances, at least you addressed the points and made your case.

A tip of the hat to you, sir.
