I just went in today, and it wasn't on the shelves. Too bad, J&R is New York's best game store.

Yeah, it was the Feb. 15th date that had me confused. Good to know. Thanks for taking the time to copy that here.

BEST GAME STORE? yeah right... how so?
It's in stock the EB by my work. They were pimping it soooo hard.
It was in stock at my GS. They had 2 left.

Thanks OP! Placed an order using Google Checkout and got it for $10 cheaper. Tried getting it at Frys, but they sold out in like 2 minutes when the shipment came in.

The carry games other than the latest releases? And it's near my job?

Seriously, is there a better store? EB/GS don't cut it, and the indie stores have disappeared over the last several years. This is a serious question; I would love to find a better place.

Isn't this game supposed to be bad? The reviews are awful on gamerakings. I'd only buy it if I needed an extra wii remote because paying an "extra" $10 isn't much for a bad game.

I got it on 2/14 at target. My fiancee and I went through the game, its not bad. I'd say it's worth $10 on top of the remote, but that's about it. It's 9 minigames, some of them are pretty fun.

Yea. If it were $20 on top of the remote then I wouldn't even consider it. I wish I had a need for another remote but I already bought an extra one. Poo! Suppose if you're looking for some minigames then it isn't bad for an extra $10.

Thanks for posting this! I drove to BB today to buy this with that $10 off coupon, but they were sold out. This is actually like $1.xx cheaper since I didn't pay tax (even with the shipping)! Thanks so much! only down side was I have $7.20 in Bestbuy cards, but I'll use them some other time.

THANKS!

In for one at Buy.com, mostly because it comes out to just a bit cheaper than the cost of a second remote after the PayPal refund deal. Any enjoyment I get out of these is icing.
It's in stock at Buy.com too for those of you who prefer a that.
Link? I can't find it on their site.

i highly recommend watching gametrailers' video reviews. they gave it 60 ish(forgot the exact score) and it gives you an idea which games are worthwhile. sadly one of my favorite games air hockey is awful :( so if i needed a third controller, i doubt id fork out even an extra dollar for these minigames...

I think that's the only reason for buying it... on the CAGcast, Cheapy said it wasn't worth playing, not even as a gamefly rental.

If you want (more) Wii minigames, and have finished Rayman, Monkey Ball, etc. it looks like WarioWare is the way to go.

I was wondering about this game. People have been going nuts over this ever since it was announced for pre-order. I guess if you're still looking for an extra controller it's not a bad pickup but most sites I've seen have given this pretty mediocre to poor reviews.

It's a good way to show people not familiar with gaming or the Wii what it can do, and how to do it. It's a good easy pick-it-up-and-play game, and definitely more fun twoplayer. I prob wouldnt have bought it as a standalone game, but I just got my wii so I only had one controller anyway.
It is odd that it got relatively 'average' scores, but has been so hard to find. I guess a lot of people need a controller, or need a 'showoff' game.

Thanks OP. Picked it up for $42 and change thanks to GCO, so anything I get out of the game is the icing on the cake. I needed an extra Wiimote, as they've been impossible to find locally.

My buddy got it a couple of days ago. I thought it was a blast. But it's definetly a party game, you need a few people around to enjoy it.

When I ordered it, it showed up in stock :(

Wow, the ebayers have snagged all of them from stores . . . hopefully N will put this out as a $20 title in time (then I would pick it up for $15 with GGC).
Is this game really that rare at the B&M stores right now?
I saw a few just sitting on the shelves at Target, so check there.

It is a pretty fun multiplayer thing. I cannot see myself playing Wii Play alone, but as a pick up and play a few minutes multiplayer with the wife, it is a blast. Which, I think, is the point for minigames. At about the same price or a few bucks more as a bare wiimote (with the various discounts out there) it is a definite buy if you just need a wiimote and ever have other people to around to play videogames with. If you don't need another wiimote, I'd say rent it. If you're a hermit... yeah, I'd probably listen to the naysayers and skip it.

I was able to pick one up without preorder at an EBgames today...so Im not sure how rare they really are.

Picked it up last week for my 4th controller. It's actually really fun for *multiplayer*. The Where's-Mii-Waldo, Duck Hunt and Tanks are worth the $10.
