If you preordered this game from GameStop too and have been waiting for a review on it like me....Game Informer gave it an 85%. That may be old news, but its new to me. So far, I'm not the slightest bit disappointed that I preordered it.
For what its worth, EGM gave it a 5.5, 7.5, and a 6.5 and it said that the graphic were real crappy on the ps2
damn egm

im still going by game informers word....in hopes if nothing else

My impressions from the demo were mixed. It had cool features like the way you interact with pc's - you walk up, click to use the pc and then you control the mouse on the screen and click on whatever you want.

The controls seemed overly complicated for PS2, and using your powers seemed too sluggish.

Seemed interesting, but I will never blindly preorder a game.

Same here, the demo was good, but I couldn't help but get the urge to play PSI-ops instead. At best it's worth a rental.

Again, never ever preorder a game without playing it, unless, of course, it's destined for greatness (ie GTA:SA, Halo 2, MP2:E).

i just got mine in from Gamestop today. ill see how it is and report back. at the very least i run through it once and get some credit at fye for it.

as posted in the other second sight thread

gi - 8.5
ign - 7.9
gs - 7.5
psm - 8
egm - 6.5

im hoping egm is wrong...either way, ive liked games that have gotten rated worse....so screw 'em...we'll see what happens when i get it today (hopefully)

ok, i just got through the first 4 levels and heres what i think.

good so far. great story and the graphics are nice in that same timesplitters/free radical way. im not sure if the controls are just hard to get used to or plain suck, but the camera is pissing me off big time. i think the problem is im playing Sly Cooper 2 at the same time, and the you camera rotation controls are inverted from every other platformer ever made in Second Sight.

the game seems to go back and forth between flashbacks and present day. the flashbacks so far have been running and gunning, and the present day has been stealth and psi powers.

the psi powers arent as impressive as they were in psi ops, meaning i havent killed anyone with them yet. so far, i have only really used telekenisis to move objects and cause distractions so guards look with other way. the power that makes you invisbile is quite handy though.

so anyway, still to early for a final score, but so far its been fun minus the camera and controls, but the story and graphics will keep me playing until the end.

I haven't looked much into this game, but I usually trust EGM's scores over anyone else's. I may rent it first.

ok, i beat it yesterday. i think more of a rental than a purchase, because it doesnt clock in at very long. the psi powers get better and eventually more fun to use. the story is good, although the game is a bit easy on Normal mode it doesnt detract from the gameplay which was great shooting and some moderate stealth.

i give it a 7.5 which iseems to be about what its getting elsewhere.

Well, EB has this game on all systems for $30 with free 1 day shipping, and a bonus DVD, so I'll probally get it. If I beat it pretty quickly, I'll just trade it into GameRush for $20. About how many hours did it take to beat it?

i got through it in about 8 or 9, and thats included all the times in the beginning that i died at the begining (im not the stealthiest fellow around and the beginning of the game demands that sort of thing).
