No credit card is required for most offers so if you're American, you can get enough points for Wii Points or Microsoft points without too much trouble. However, Canadians have very few offers so I need referrals to get enough for Wii Points! I can't buy Microsoft Points because they only have the 1600 ones which are valid for USA only.
