Wii now $250

I was able to pricematch my own purchase because I bought it on March 6 in the first case at Wal-Mart.

Therefore, I got it for $248.

If it is a price mistake, they made the same mistake in their system, because the price did not have to be entered manually.

Good luck finding a Wii at WMT though.
 
Walmart alwyas does that. A few pennies off takes them a long way. I usually buy my games there cuz they are usually a little cheaper than most.
 
ya I saw that too...didn't really matter much to me cause I'd just use the superstore 30 dollar thing, but either way its nice to see in hope of future price drops xD
 
Just got back from the Walmart on Lawrence Ave in North York and they did not have any. I asked a cerk who said they received something like 5 in total for the sale...

Good thing I've got mine allready :)

I don't know where in Canada you are, or what the Superstores/Loblaws in your area are putting in their weekly flyers, but here in BC, no Superstore has had that coupon since Xmas. For the past few months the weekly coupon has been buy $150+ and get some food product free. One week it was strawberries, another week it was ham.

All the store employees I talked to didn't think the buy $250+ get $30 off coupons would be coming back any time soon.
 
Hmm weird...well just the past week or so, maybe 2 weeks, not sure, there was one here. I'm not in BC, I can tell ya that lol

Nah, this is the Canada board. Wii is normaly 280 up here, not 250. So it's 30 bucks off.
 
I am in rural NS, and they are pretty easy to find here. I don't mind helping a brother out if you need it. If someone is *really* having trouble getting a Wii, and really wants one, I will pick it up for you, and send it out, at no profit. I can get it at Wal-Mart, or Superstore, and send a receipt with it.

I am guessing about $20 shipping, and plus 14% tax here., plus a couple bucks for PayPal fee. Should be just under $300 shipped.

That's BS
Superstore just had the 30 off 250 coupons last easter long weekend in the now newspaper. They have them quite frequently, I've seen them at least three times since xmas.

1) That the $30 off coupon was in the Easter long weekend flyer

2) That that coupon has appeared at least 3 times since Xmas?
 
I was at Wal-Mart tonight, and noticed that the price is back up to $278. WTF? I thought Wal-Mart didn't have sales, just 'roll-backs'? I asked the kid there, and he said it wasn't a sale, it was a promotion from nintendo.

I imagine if this was promo from Ninty, then that means they can afford the price drop, and so I would expect it to drop soon.

Does anyone know if the Superstore's in the Maritimes (Atlantic Superstore) have those $30 off coupons? I don't recall seeing them, but I do remember them from back home (prairies). In fact they often had $50 off, IIRC.

I don't know snowsquirrel, the Wii is still selling like hotcakes, don't expect Nintendo to drop the price just yet. Maybe in 2008.

It's not a flyer.
It was a full page ad in the COQUITLAM NOW newspaper.

Well, one doesn't get the COQUITLAM Now newspaper unless one lives in Coquitlam.

Like I said, I have not seen those coupons in the FLYERS since Xmas.

Here in Vancouver, we just get the Vancouver Courier.

Coquitlam is just a stones throw away from their Pitt Meadows distribution center. That could easily explain a regional variance. Pitt's been there for ~2 years now, and the Vancouver center just ships food now. Seeing as we just get coupons for strawberries, ham and whatnot now, that would make a lot of sense.
 
I see that the current Superstore flyer has that $30 off a $250+ purchase coupon on the front.

I didn't see that one coming.

The tricky part is having that coupon on you when you are in a Superstore WHEN it has Wiis in stock - and it must be during the week that the coupon is valid for.
