The psp really is the best handheld game system I have ever owned. Gameboy (ol' grey) was my first video game system ever and I've had its various iterations through the years. So why did I go with a psp instead of a DS? Well its for the simple fact that I wanted my games to have more depth and longetivity. So if you are looking for the same thing in a handheld, the psp is a good choice.

Also I really recommend getting custom firmware for it so you can use homebrew. Playing scummvm on the psp is kick ass!

I'm assuming it's a core unit? Also, while I do love my DS, I wish they had as many sports titles as PSP. It sucks that this deal is only for one day though.
 
not a big fan of sports titles on handhelds (besides super dodgeball) but good for anyone who wants a psp, i have a feeling there aren't going to be any left after todays deal (blasted hoarders)

Aaah if I had more money to spend, I would get this. What Ubisoft games are there for the PSP, anyway? I'd probably get Killzone.

But yeah, I need money for Mass Effect and Pokemon Diamond ^_^
 
Stupid Sony. Ubisoft published Tales of Eternia in Europe but Sony wouldn't allow them to bring it to North America =(

I picked one up for LESS THAN THE SALE PRICE!!!

I'll post all about it as soon as I get back from running an errand.

Don't bother with the Brentwood Mall Zellers unless you want an open one. They had 2 and I bought the unopened one.

Check back in 30 minutes or so for the scoop on how I got the PSP for $149.99 and the $49.99 game FOR FREE!!!

EDIT: don't count on getting the same deal I got . . . .
 
Yes its the core unit (as mentioned on RFD). As for Tales of Eternia, you could just import the euro version seeing as psp games are region free. But ya Sony is being stupid (as usual). Probably the only thing I don't like about the psp is the fact that Sony makes it... :p

As for the deal starting today, I guess it depends where you live. Here in Manitoba no stores are open (by law). Only things that can be open are restaraunts, movie theaters and the like.
