Sam + Max team starts new studio!

Here's hoping that they can do something grand...

Who knows? I don't think that Lucasarts is planning on doing anything with Sam and Max anymore...maybe they'd be willing to sell the game and/or give up the license to the new company. We can dream... :D

THANK. YOU. GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE Sam and Max. I can't believe they cancelled it! I have had to buy like six copies of Sam and Max!

Now what about that sequel to Full Throttle, eh? EH?!

"GS: When do you expect to announce a publishing partner?

DC: We may not. The proliferation of broadband has opened a direct channel to fans of these types of games."

Wow. They really wont be stopped this time. I will support them as much as i can now.

wow... I shed a tear when Sam & Max got cancelled. It would be incredible if that got revived.

Fools are always cancelling Sam & Max projects. Remember the cartoon series on FOX? Great stuff, lots of gags were lifted straight out of the game. It's main limitation was that it had to somewhat contain itself to stay within the Y-7 rating. Bring that back and put it on Adult Swim I say... that would be beyond sweet.

I hope that they don't end up making the game after all and we find out it was cancelled because it sucked.

But unless I hear otherwise, I will believe that the game is going to be great and only got cancelled because it wasn't Star Wars.

Sam and Max Hit the Road is my FAVORITE PC game. Really, of all of 'em, that one takes the cake. I've played through it no less than 10 times, and it STILL cracks me up. And yeah, the Sam and Max cartoon on Fox was great, too.

Then how about an adventure game based on the cartoon? However, instead of the P+C method, they should use the engine that Monkey Island had (also an excellent adventure game). The only game I liked more that Sam and Max Hit the Road, was the Indiana Jones game.

Which Indiana Jones game are you talking about? I know LucasArts made a bunch of them, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. Anyway, this is great news, I've always loved Sam and Max and most LucasArts related games.
Hope Lucas arts doesnt hang on to the franchise..Or else..No Sam&Max2
Yes, but since they don't do anything with it and they aren't making much of its sales maybe they will sell of the name for royalties.
