Light colored style for the forums maybe?

Dark backgrounds are killers on my eyes. Is there any chance of adding a light-colored style to phpBB? Just looking at their site, something like MSSimplicity, Silver Xire, or Pixelated (that's a nice one).

Or something. I get a headache if I read more than a few posts at a time though. My eyes get all :shock:
 
That was a version without as many graphics, for folks that had slower connections. Though I do think it had a white background.

I'm not suggesting that the board be changed at all. It allows for multiple styles that users can choose. I'm just saying that another option would be nice. The only other style available seems to mostly just change the green areas to orange. Oh well. I'll try playing with font sizes for now, maybe that'll help.
 
cheapy said that when he has to update the sight he has to do both the orange and the green and it adds a whole bunch of time. Thats why we only have two.

I would also like a lighter option.

It's easier on the eyes, and it isn't as obvious you're reading a non-work site at work ;)
 
No way, I like the dark back ground, this is one of the few web sites that I don't have to highlight the text so that I can read it with out losing my place.
 
I just meant there should be a dark text on light background option, not change the default light text on gray. That way everyone wins.
 
I don't even know how to change the format... didn't even know there was that option.

EDIT well i found the option to change the green to orange, which i like a lot better, doesn't make me feel like i am on an xbox site :?
