Since Live Search Club seems like its too much of a waste of time, I think it's best we get off that subject.

So, here's a thread for Moola.com. Why play Moola you ask? Simply because, it actually works. And, as a side-bonus, it's not a sketchy site where you do offers and get spam. All you do is play games. There are people that have gotten over $600 playing Moola!

Invites are listed below for those of you who don't have accounts yet.YOU CAN'T GET AN ACCOUNT WITHOUT AN INVITE!

After you sign up, be sure to PM me your referral link, and I'll stick it here, so people will be able to get an invite and play. Plus, you'll get referral bonuses.

PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR INVITE LINK! Please PM me your invite link, and I will post it here! This way, it will be easier for people who want to play to get an invite, rather than scrolling through all these pages looking for one. AND, it cuts down on spam. Thank You

Moolahelper.com

http://www.moolahelper.com

This site is really awesome. What it does, is it places Moola.com in a frame on the page, and then has a helper in the same window. It's very convenient, so you don't have to be moving in multiple windows to play the game. It has a gold rush counter, and a Hi/Lo counter, that gives you percentages. It's really helpful for both games, and when used in conjucntion with the betting guide below, there is a lot of potential.

This is another site that helps with Moola. It provides some decent tips, and some new helpers not previously listed here. It also has quite a few invites. If you find you don't like the helpers listed here, you may want to try this site.

Strategy Help

Gold Rush Helpers

http://crashmycubicle.com/?page_id=20 - Counts Gold Rush Pieces (I prefer the moolahelper.com page to this one, as the interface is better)

http://www.emptymoat.com/moola-gold-rush/moola.html - Calculates Winning Strategy (Works fairly well, but please do think about what pieces your using, as sometimes the strategy it gives doesn't work.

Hi/Lo Helper

http://crashmycubicle.com/?page_id=13 - Counts cards for Hi/Lo, gives you percentages and suggestions (I personally like the moolahelper.com one better than this, as it's got a better interface for Hi/Lo)

Those are not bots. These programs are only helpful for counting pieces of gold left, and for counting what cards have already been used in Hi/Lo. Percentages can be really helpful to put things into perspective for Hi/Lo. The Gold Rush strategy calculator can only get you so far. In order to advance in Gold Rush, you have to be able to read other people's strategy.

General Strategy Tips: NEVER EVER RISK IT ALL EXCEPT FOR THE FIRST THREE LEVELS!!! Follow the betting guide below. It works best for Hi/Lo, as it takes losing streaks into account, but it's good for Gold Rush and Ro-Sham-Bo-Fu as well. If you don't want to follow that guide, just play two levels below the level you are currently able to play at.

USE SEARCH AND WIN! IT'S GREAT FOR GETTING OUT OF THE LOWER LEVELS, WHICH REALLY AREN'T WORTH PLAYING

Gold Rush Tips:

Never play your 6, or maybe even your 5, in the first couple rounds, even if a 6 comes up. Thats a great way to get screwed. Also, MAKE SURE YOU ANTICIPATE TIES. In a situation where you would want to play your lowest piece, check to see if your opponents lowest piece is the same as yours. If it is, and if they have more higher pieces than you, you may be getting yourself into a tie breaker you can't win. Always assume your opponent is counting your pieces and the pieces in the mine.

Hi/Lo Tips:

Always lock every 3 or 4 cards, even if it seems like you won't lose. I CAN'T TELL YOU how many times I've had an ace, and then gotten another ace, and hadn't locked in recently, and ended up at the beginning. Locking in at the proper times is crucial. Also, don't take your opponents cards into much consideration. Playing that way can get you into serious trouble. I think that's why the designers allow you to see their cards. But, pay attention to where they're locked in and how many lives they have left. This may seem like a noob tip, but if you notice that they have no lives left, and your still playing, get ahead of where they last locked and just lock in. The game will be over, and then you will win. Do anticipate losing streaks. Yea, they suck, and they can last a long time, but they are inevitable, and the sooner you get past them, the sooner you can make more moola!

Hi/Lo Betting Strategy by fly_fisher of Moola.com Forums

This betting strategy can be good for other games too. The reason it's a Hi/Lo betting strategy is because it takes losing streaks into account.

For all those that have posted about being "stuck" at the lower levels or are stuck and haven't posted, here is a quick and easy way to maximize you account (Besides doing the Booster Zone offers -the link at the top of the page). I know there has been some talk of bankroll management, but here is a proven strategy. This routine has worked for me in the past as long as I stuck to my guns.

Here are levels 1 -10. From there you'll see the idea behind the theory and should be able to apply it to the higher levels.

Level 01 = Bet $0.01 WIN $0.02
- If you win play level 2

Level 02 = Bet $0.02 WIN $0.04
- Play level 2 until you have a minimum of $0.08
-This gives you 2 games on level 3

Level 03 = Bet $0.04 WIN $0.08
- Play level 3 until you have a minimum of $0.16
-This gives you 2 games on level 4

From here on you will need to keep an emergency stash on money to fall back on if you lose all of your next level games in a row. If you do, drop back a level and regain your goal.

Level 04 = Bet $0.08 WIN $0.16
- Play level 4 until you have a minimum of $0.64
-This gives you 3 games on level 5 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 4

Level 05 = Bet $0.16 WIN $0.32
- Play level 5 until you have a minimum of $1.28
-This gives you 3 games on level 6 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 5

Level 06 = Bet $0.32 WIN $0.64
- Play level 6 until you have a minimum of $2.56
-This gives you 3 games on level 7 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 6

Level 07 = Bet $0.64 WIN $1.28
- Play level 7 until you have a minimum of $6.40
-This gives you 4 games on level 8 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 7

Level 08 = Bet $1.28 WIN $2.56
- Play level 8 until you have a minimum of $12.80
-This gives you 4 games on level 9 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 8

Level 09 = Bet $2.56 WIN $5.12
- Play level 9 until you have a minimum of $25.60
-This gives you 4 games on level 10 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 9

Level 10 = Bet $5.12 WIN $10.24
- Play level 10 until you have a minimum of $61.44
-This gives you 5 games on level 11 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 10

Level 11 = Bet $10.24 Win $20.48
- Play level 11 until you have a minimum of $122.88
- This gives you 5 games on level 12 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 11

Level 12 = Bet $20.48 Win $40.96
- Play level 12 until you have a minimum of $245.76
- This gives you 5 games on level 13 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 12

Level 13 = Bet $40.96 Win $81.92
- Play level 13 until you have a minimum of $573.44
- This gives you 6 games on level 14 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 13

Level 14 = Bet $81.92 Win $163.84
- Play level 14 until you have a minimum of $1146.88
- This gives you 6 games on level 15 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 14

Level 15 = Bet $163.84 Win $327.68
- Play level 15 until you have a minimum of $2293.76
- This gives you 6 games on level 16 plus 2 "emergency" games on level 15
Keep in mind that this may not be the safest way to play since it climbs the ladder in a rapid fashion. But.... if you follow it to the T and fall back when you have to, you should be OK.

Also, when you cash out... Leave yourself atleast 10 bucks or so, unless you like playing for the wheel

Good Luck,

-fly

Other Information

This is not meant to go in the referrals section, because it's not a referral thread. It's a thread to get help playing Moola.

Also if you're worried about the helpers above, here's a quote from a Moola Admin:

Moola's current policy on these programs (and of course our policy can change) is that programs that require you to enter in numbers (so that they do not automatically connect to Moola's system) are fine. If they automatically submit bids for you or connect to Moola's system so that you do not have to type in the numbers, then they are not acceptable.

These programs may give newbies a better chance at winning, but for an experienced player, these programs can often hurt you. For GoldRush there is often a counterstrategy that will beat any particular strategy.

I agree about Ro-Sham-Bo Fu. Half the times I did played it the server didn't receive my play. The other games work fine and take less time to finish IMHO.

Actually, right now I'm just going to play it safe and use Search & Win.

Yes I'm verified.
Yes I'm verified.
Have you been getting spam phone calls on ur cellphone? I was afraid of that, so I haven't verified yet.

I verified my account, and I haven't gotten any spam or extra texts or anything. Moola wants you to keep playing, so I seriously doubt that they would piss off their users by selling the phone numbers to ad companies.
I have gotten to the point where I am only going to play for very low stakes, like 4 or 8 cents at a time, and rely on the wheel to boost me 4 times a day. My win percentage is exactly 50 percent, so I don't have much hope betting.

From what it looks like, the only game people have ever gotten really high by playing, was Ro-Sham-Bo-Fu

There used to be a forum at moolaclub.com...There was a guy that made a list of the strategies of a few hundred bot players for that game. I think he cashed out at 600 some dollars, and was still playing. Sadly, the forum went down a while back, and now that list is nowhere to be found.

Hmmm...

Maybe what we should do, is everyone here play Autoplayers. Then, as you play, list the name of the bot, make a list of the moves you made against that bot, and whether you won or not...Then we could compile a list of all the moves needed to win.

This could probably be done for only ro-sham-bo-fu, because Hi/Lo is pure luck, and Gold Rush has the mine putting out pieces of gold.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Here's a record of my game of Roshambo Fu with a bot:

MILLMAR - Level 1

Bonus: Don't Use Paper
Me: Paper
Bot: Rock

Bonus: Don't Use Scissors
Me: Scissors
Bot: Paper

Bonus: Don't Use Rock

Bot: Scissors

Bonus: Don't Use Scissors

Bonus: Don't Use Paper

Overall Strategy of the Bot: Pick the winner of the two that would get a bonus.

I recommend everyone use this template.

Also, I'm not sure if all names are italicized in the matching lobby...but this name was italicized.

BTW: My win percentage is about 52%

I've decided to catalog EVERY player's strategy. Players labeled Anonymous probably aren't bots, but it helps to possibly analyze strategies from a list of games.

I think the first move that should be made in any game of roshambofu, is to choose the action that would not result in a bonus. If not that, then choose one that would result in a win against someone not choosing the bonus.

To the rest of you, please start cataloging the actions of other players in games of roshambofu, and post them here. As they're posted, I will stick them in a .txt, and upload it somewhere, and update it frequently.

Right now, I've only got 2 games listed. Once I get a few more, I'll upload it.
Sounds like a referral thread to me. Its how all the old threads were designed, and they're all in the ref section, just an fyi.
The reason people put referral links though, is because you can't join Moola without an invite.

The point of the thread was to help build strategy...all people are doing is posting their invite links...

You should know that was going to happen, you even included your invite link in the OP so everyone would use it, it was pretty guarenteed to happen.
You should know that was going to happen, you even included your invite link in the OP so everyone would use it, it was pretty guarenteed to happen.
I just added a note to the OP. Don't post your invite link. PM it to me, and I'll list it in the OP. It's better for you, because then it'll be easier for people to see the link, and it's better for everyone else, because then they can find links easier.

It also cuts down on spam so more people can talk strategy.

BTW: I went ahead and added all the previously posted Invite links to the OP

Maybe this can be moved back to the contest/free stuff board now?

Its still a referral thread because of the links, even this site imo. Other sites did the same thing with an "FAQ" or "talk about it" idea, but were then moved here because of the links for a referral.

sigh, your probably right

But the thing is, people can't even join the site without a link anyway, so it's not just for people to get referrals. Moola limits people how many invites they have too.

BTW: That gold rush solver is actually very good. Don't follow EVERYTHING it says though. Usually it might spit out one choice every game where you're thinking, "WTF would I do that for?" In those cases, don't follow the solver, and do what you think is right. You'll probably win.

Record with the solver:
8 wins, 1 loss, 1 tie

The guys who made it said that you will have a win percentage above 50% with it.

I added a couple invite links. There are a total of 20 invites available right now. More are added to every link every day.

I have a lesson that everyone here can learn: I got to level 7 today, and then I played for everything I had, against an opponent I had beat in the previous game. I lost everything.

SO, two things to take away from this: Do not play the same person twice in a row, and don't play for everything you have at level 7.

It's okay though, because I'll be at level 6 once I verify my account because of Search and Win.

quadomatic, I sent you a PM with my link.

So far I am at level 6 with 60 Wins and 58 Losses... Not a very good Win-Lose ratio.

I used to play the Hi Lo game but I started doing gold rush with the "helper."

This site has a nice one:

http://www.emptymoat.com/moola-gold-rush/moola.html

Be warned this site can be very frustrating. I got a $1.00 bonus with the search and win, but I'm already down to 50 cents.

I do have a question about the search and win... Do your first 4 searches of the day give you chances to win? or can you win 4 times a day total from numerous searches?

Edit: Thanks for adding my referral link to the OP.

It's 4 times a day total. It's worth checking back for every so often, because its actually worth it, just so you can get past the lower levels.

Has anybody been playing rosham and recording the details? Check the OP. It'll help out.

BTW: I added all the referral links that were sent to me to the original thread.
I never got the text to verify my shit.
There was some error when I was doing it. Moola fixed it, but I still have to wait a little less than a week before I can request another code...

Two more invite links were just added. I'm at level 7 after just using search and win over a couple days. It's useful to get out of the lower levels.
How much money you guys got right now? I have $3.51 after a couple of days.

GOLD RUSH SOLVER: http://www.emptymoat.com/moola-gold-rush/moola.html

It works very well, in my opinion. Play low games to test it out if you want. If someone else is using it though, each person has a 50% chance of winning.
That is a very good solver, and it's already in the original post...along with some other helpers.

Be careful about using that one, especially on higher levels. Make sure you think about what it's telling you to use, as it may be taking you away from a strategy that could help you win.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I usually play 4 cent games on this, and all the big games on Hi/Lo!
How many times do you have to search before you get your second, third, and fourth spins?
I'm not sure...I looked but I don't see.

It doesn't look like it.

I just added another invite link, and it looks like Moola.com replenished everyone's invites, and we're at 153 invites now.

I'd digg this thread, but that might get out of hand.
Is Moola open to CND residences?
from their FAQ

"Currently, access to Moola is limited to residents of the United States and Canada only therefore all payments are in local currency (U.S. dollars for U.S. addresses and Canadian dollars for Canadian addresses). Foreign versions of Moola are in development and will be released soon. "

I've given up on Gold Rush, as I've never been very good at it.

A while back I reached level 10 playing Hi/Lo, so I decided to go back to playing that again.

Right now I'm at level 7. What level is everyone else at?

What level do you plan on quitting at? I plan on quitting at level 16, and getting a PS3, or just holding onto the money.

I think it's very possible to get to that level, since there are always people online at level 17 or 18, if you look at the moola tower.

However, once you get to the higher levels, you'll probably have to go and just play for smaller amounts of money, like a couple dollars per game, since there won't be many people that high.
