100 Free PC games to D/L

Eh. i've downloaded most of those games since they are free MMOs and alot of them do make you pay after awhile.
Most free games suck. Unless they're retail.
And a lot of the best games ever made are free. Your point?

I could probably survive on Cave Story, Scorched 3D, WolfET, and ActionCube for the rest of my life, if I had to.

This list is a bit weird, by the way. Trackmania isn't free...

Oh, and Mr Unoriginal: I've actually played most of the games on this list, so I can make recommendations. Anything in particular you're looking for?

There's a special version made of Trackmania for free just for online play.
Trackmania nations:

Trackmania Nations is. And it is excellent.

Oh, shit, haha. See, I read the word above the link, and not the link itself. I thusly had Trackmania Original in mind.

Yeah, I'm actually a huge Trackmania fan (and unlike most, I actually got the original right about when it came out, before Sunrise came along and the series started to really hit it big).

I suggest the following for FPS Fans:

Warrock (Tons of online players)
Return to castle wolfenstien: Enemy territory (Tons of online players)
Cube 2 (Not many online players)

I'd be more into dungeon crawls, RPGs, Space sim/combat and strategy games. The only thing I would probably not care for are sports and FPSs.

I can suggest: Savage. I don't have a clue how many people are playing it online anymore but i played the living sh*t out of it when it came out a few years back.

Think of it as a fantasy BF2 but with less shooting, more meelee and siege weapons.
One player is the commander. He can give you orders to attack certain players or buildings, give the command for constructing extra buildings which give you certain upgrades (people will have to help construct the building, like peons in WC3) and also devise strategies since he has an overview over the map and everything that's happening. You have to conquer certain strategic points with your team, after you've captured those strategic points you can start destroying their base. Base destroyed -> WIN

It was wicked fun when I used to play it.

Cave Story easily ranks up there with the best of them in terms of fun and gameplay. Download it and check it out, you'll be amazed that this was all done by 1 guy.
