Great deal on BioShock & The Darkness. Almost wish I wasn't locked down on the BioShock LE. It's now starting to prove to be a lot more expensive compared to the regular edition :\
 
Yeah, I would definitely do the Bioshock and Darkness things if I hadn't had my pre-order at EB thanks to the trade in 3. Oh well!

I just wanted to correct this, when you include taxes you're really only saving a bit under $10 assuming EB gives a flat $44 for darkness.

You could always swap your pre-order to another trade-3 game (Halo/Mass Effect/Assassin's Creed). That's how I preordered it (swapped AC for Bioshock).
 
Unrelated to the flyer but I happen to be at a Futureshop on Lansdowne, there's a bin of UMD movies for 6 bucks. Since I don't care about the Universal Media Disc format, I thought others might be interested. Some of the movies, from memory, are Ali G first season (two UMDs), Enter the Dragon, Constantine, Tim Burton's Willy Wonka ... and that's all that comes to mind.

Also I managed to snag Zookeeper for 5 bucks, maybe other FS might have it. Also they had Viewtiful Joe 1 for 5 bucks and 2 for 10 as well as a bunch of other marked down games (mostly crap that was marked down even further).

EB doesn't charge tax on credit actually. So it would be:

Spend: $89.99 x 1.13 = $101.69
Get: $44 x 1.13 = $49.72

$101.69 - $49.72 = $51.97

Bioshock is normally $59.99 x 1.13 = $67.79

$67.79 - $51.97 = savings of $15.87

Not much I guess, but it's something! Also more than I said >_>;

Will they really allow that? Has anyone tried?

If so, I'd love to swap my two pre-orders of Halo 3 for Bioshock and say, GTAIV

(When I was trading in games a few months back on the trade 3 promo and didn't have a 360 yet, all I could think to get that I could resell easily was Halo 3.)

I don't see why they couldn't, as long as the prices are the same and they haven't phoned in with the number of games they need based on preorders.
 
Thanks for the flyer post: I've really missed these since someone was last doing them. Hopefully you or someone else can post them when you get them.

Flyers: one of the few things I miss about getting the newspaper.

Yeah, just go and ask tell them you'd like to change a pre-order. You don't even need a receipt. I changed my Metroid Prime 3 pre-order since I was going to be away the day it comes out.

When Bioshock comes out just go and tell them you'd like to buy Bioshock instead. Or you can wait until Halo 3 comes out and return it.

Well it wasn't a problem changing the pre-orders but they had to be for games that qualified for the Trade 3 deal presently. The three 360 games that qualify now are Bioshock, Mass Effect and Assassins Creed.

went this morning knowing they wouldnt have put this bundle into their system yet, so i had a 10$ discount for error price. I walk out paying 79.99$+tax for darkness and bioshock :)

the main reason why they knocked me off 10$ is because they made an error while scanning,in quebec, there's a law if they make a mistake like that, they have to make knock off 10bucks. So i juste pretty knew they would make a mistake if i were the first customer.
