Decided to stop by a thrift store that usually sucks for lack of better word... overpriced and everything... found these little buggers (especially one HUGE bugger...) in a glass case in the back corner.

Ahahahaha... I could barely contain myself ... I walked out of the store and squealed like a giddy schoolgirl.

Just a question; how often do you go into thrift stores? Because I have been going to Goodwill and what have you for two years and only rarely do I score.

Anyway, killer find.
Are they all complete?
Let's just pretend they're case and insert ONLY. Or maybe 1 of them had a disc, but it's all scratched to hell.

Then we can feel better until we cry ourselves to sleep tonight muttering hateful words since we didn't make this score...
All complete. No scratches on discs. :)
Oh man, that's so awesome. god I'm so conflicted...must....congratulate you...but also say....GRRRRR...soooo bitter....I am....

Anyway if you find any extra copies, errr, hint hint....maybe you could let us (me) know.

Yeah I rarely go anymore myself but I get the urge once in a while.. its few and far between to score in reality. I used to go 5 times a week around town and rarely hit the same one more than twice... all on my lunch hour...

I am much to busy for that now however. You almost need to go everyday to find the good stuff.

To think about it another way though... you are always probably walking by something that is a small goldmine on ebay... its just not your hobby and you have no idea what its worth.

Good score.

Yep, and Snake you are also very right that you almost need to make it a full time job in and of itself to go hunting if you expect scores like this. They are extremely rare.

I just don't have the time to hit up the thrift stores or pawn shops other than maybe hit one a month as I pass by or find them, so instead I focus on craigslist, eBay, and the sale listings here and elsewhere for scores.

Holy. Shit.

I'm crying right now.

I went to a thrift/pawn shop and got Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast and Gran Turismo & Sub Rebellion for PS2 but....that doesn't compare to your find. At All.
Holy crap! I am SO jealous. Heh, I like that they priced Lunar 2 over Suikoden 2.
They priced it based on number of discs/size of jewel case undoubtedly.

How funny is that? I love clueless people and the deals you score out of them.
The better question is - who donated these games .. for free?
I'll bet is was someone's mother. I check out thrift stores once in a while here in Tampa and I never find deals like this. I did find FF3 for the Snes cart only for 4 dollars at a pawn shop 3 days ago.
I'll bet is was someone's mother..
Somebody is going to be pissed at his mother forever.

I think I would have to get out the shotgun if I came home and heard, "Oh, honey, I donated your PS1 RPG collection to the thrift store!"

that was a score your not going to get again enjoy and congrats on that find :booty:

Im pretty excited seeing my younger brother is buying a Ps2 off some guy from his work that wants extra mola for his vegas trip.. Well its a PS2 with extra controllers and memory cards and about 22 games..
He asked me if I would want any of the games seeing hes more of a sport nut and he is going to give me what ever games I want for $5 a pop..
Well what has me excited is this guy that hes buying the PS2 from is kinda of a 2d fighter nut and there is a mint Marvel Vs Capcom 2 in the bundle of games.. ahh going to be one of the best $5 I ever spent...

I was thinking ... disgruntled girlfriend donates boyfriend's rpg collection.
^That's hilarious and congratulations!

I have never seen Suikoden II in the wild, but the rest maybe once.
Yeah, it's the first time I've seen it outside of a retail store.

You lucky duckling! I found FFVII in PERFECT condition at a Goodwill(8$)...Along with a 360 controller and several N64 games and even a gamecube memory card!

I remember waiting for the mall to open the day Suikoden II came out. I was the only one there. I didn't care about game values, I just loved the first one so damn much. It was 39.99 new and there were dozens of them and I only bought one to play. I wish I bought more than one copy
