Is there a way to get my PS1 save files from my old memory cards to the PC that doesn't have to do with the dexdrive (Preferably direct, but through the PS3 is okay too) and convert them to the ePSXe file format?

All help is greatly appreciated!

I know you can move files from ps2 cards, but not sure about ps1.
I use the exploit described here PS2 to USB

You can supposedly copy ps1 to ps2 using the ps2 browser, then maybe to the usb key. Then to the computer.

Hope my ramble helped.
You can probably find PC drivers for PS3/PS2 memory card adaptors if you look (as well as finding them cheaper).

And I know there is a PS1 savegame converter.
Can't you just use that to copy your saves to a PS3 virtual memory card, copy the data from the PS3 virtual memory card to a USB thing or one of the three other memory cards most of the PS3s support, and then copy off of one of those things onto your PC? And vice versa?

You'd have to have a PS3, but that would be cool if you did.

1. Buy Pelican PS1/PS2 memory card adapter from Gamestop.

2. Put your PS1 memory card in the adapter and then the PS3.

3. Create virtual PS1 memory card on your PS3 hard drive.

4. Transfer PS1 memory card's saves you want onto the virtual PS1 memory card.

5. Plug in any type of USB device like a thumb drive or external hard drive into the PS3 and copy your PS1 saves from your virtual memory card onto your USB device.

6. Plug USB device in computer and I think I can help you in deciphering what save is what.
