Good deal, although nothing there that interests me that I don't already own. Maybe Fifth Element and Donnie Brasco... Although I already own Fifth Element on DVD and not sure I need to own Donnie Brasco.

If I hadn't already gotten the two Pirates movies in another BOGO, or a used copy of The Prestige, or a free copy of Memento with my PS3, I'd consider those. =)

Don't forget about the B2G1 (+ $2.99 S&H) deal on some of the Sony BR's:

http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/bluraymailoffer/

Also, thanks OP, as I bought House of Flying Daggers & Kung-Fu Hustle a couple of weeks ago for $30, now I can return them and save $10. Same goes for the order I placed on J&R.com for Fifth Element and The Patriot on Friday, assuming I can get them to cancel it first thing tomorrow morning and save another $10.

Thanks Shrike, you may have just sealed this deal for me. I'm looking at getting 4 movies, and 2 are on that list. I'm looking at Memoirs, Big Fish, Hitch and 50 First Dates.

I'd probably pick up Pursuit of Happiness through the rebate, so that would make 5 movies for $43 total. Not bad at all.

Motherfucker! I just bought FEAR Files on 360 and The Transporter on Blu-ray yesterday...

Ordered Silent Hill and Casino Royale.

"Now the whole world will know you died scratching my balls."

Shrek 3 comes out on HD DVD on Tuesday, I knew this deal would happen!

Don't worry if you don't have any cash this time around, any time there is a big HD DVD release, Sony and Disney will be there with a BOGO!

Now, I can get Fifth Element, The Patriot and Casino Royale for $22.90, which sounds like a hell of a deal to me, assuming I can get J&R.com to cancel the order.

Any clue on how long this will be going on? I'm too broke to buy anything now, but this is definitely a good deal.

Very nice, just wish there were more titles. I can only find one that I would actually consider buying. Why does Fox never do this on their titles?

Man, so many good movies on that list! I have most already, but I'd buy them again if I didn't, it's a great deal. I just picked up Hostel, and Wild Things for $19.95 shipped.

 The only person angry that something's on sale!

EDIT: The B2G1 from Sony makes it sweeter, but I'm not the kind of person who can cut off proof of purchases when it's part of the case insert. Put that shit on the inside!

Awesome. I've been miffed that the DD sale isn't much of a deal this year, at least for Hi-Def, so I will use this to placate me. I ordered

Fifth Element
Layer Cake
Kung Fu Hustle
Memento

For $39.90, and

Stranger Than Fiction
The Lives of Others

For $26.95.

You can buy both and get $10 off, or have you been asleep this week?

Ordered Layer Cake, Big Fish, Donnie Brasco: Extended Cut, and The Patriot: Extended Cut....will probably buy more later in the week. These prices are better than SD DVDs.

Just ordered 8 movies. After the 10% discount on top of the BOGO it came to about 8 bucks a movie. Too bad I had a few of these titles already.

Is there anyway of getting around cutting off the UPCs when sending in for the B2G1 from Sony?

How do you get the 10% discount?

I don't know if I should be happy or bitching. I just bought 10 Blu Rays, and my wife is going to kill me, but how the hell could I pass up 10 for less than $84 (thank you 10%). Amazing deal. I'm on the verge of buying more, but I'm REALLY trying to resist. The only thing that sucks about this is that my copy of The Lives of Others literally shipped out from Amazon 3 days ago. I know they price match, but I don't think they offer match.

Edit: Just to make myself ill, I went through and counted how many in the sale I already own: 18. Ouch that stings.

Edit 2: I contacted them about matching the deal on my copy of The Lives of Others that had shipped out 3 days before. No go. So if anyone else is in the same boat, don't bother. That REALLY sucks. Ah well, I guess I'm saving enough money as is.

It's from a promotion from last year. You can't get it if you don't already have it.

Yes, cancel it (as long as it has not already gone to "shipping soon" status) and do it as two seperate orders. As long as your starting total is over $25, you can get free shipping. They will deduct the two cheapest if you put them all together.

Its because its charging you for the 2 most expensive, and you get the 2 cheap ones free... You should have done 2 diff orders, one for the 2 expensive ones, one for the cheap 2 ones.... Something to remember for the next order

Well, I cancelled my J&R.com order with some issue, as they said they were going to PM the Amazon.com deal. :whistle2:s Which is not what I asked for, as I asked them to cancel it. Took a few times to get them to understand I wanted to cancel it.

When I called to cancel my order at J&R they offered me free shipping if I didn't cancel my order. After I said it was still cheaper at Amazon, they said they canceled my order and said it would take a couple of hours for my notification. I'm trying to wait for my cancellation notice before I reorder everything from Amazon.

The Prestige
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest
Apocalypto
Reign of Fire
Memento
The Fifth Element:

Total: 54.28 shipped. Rock, rock on.

Still only have 1 from Sony and 1 from Disney. Oh well. I'll pass on this one and get it on the next sale...which should be when Bourne Ult. comes out

Hmm... I emailed since they were closed when I found out about the amazon deal. I'll try calling them first place in the morning to make sure it goes through. Sounds like they're being a hassle about it though.

Not sure why they're mentioning the "Free Shipping on orders over $25" on the front page. Amazon (at least on this deal) calculates it based on the pre-discount price, not the final price...and since the least amount you could spend on this sale is $40 bucks (2 BR @ $20 each) before the discount, every order will qualify for Super Saver Shipping.

So don't be afraid to order just two of the $19.95 movies. You'll still get free super saver shipping, even though your total will only be $19.95

EDIT: Disregard, as frontpage now correctly lists just "free shipping"
