Made up by our very own WhipSmartBanky,

To install, create a folder PS3 on a memory card and then a subfolder inside PS3 called THEME. So, it should be PS3/THEME.
You can then install via XMB under Settings - >Themes

Not sure if you can install PS3 browser by surfing to the URL.

All themes feature the below wallpaper and orange tinted icons.

Note: the final version is not so close to the edge. This pic was taken from an early version.

CAG Multi-pack (Contains all the wallpapers below. They display randomly on startup.)

You can. Getting them all now via PS3... :)

>>>Or maybe not, I was doing to before... getting 'not found" and errors now.

Enjoy, everyone!

;)

I'm already aware there are a few minor issues, and they will be fixed at a later date:

  1. At the time these themes were made, the Playlist and PlayStation Network icons were not available for editing.
  2. The embedded name in the CAG Multi-pack theme is "Cheap Ass Gamer" instead of "MultiCAG."
  3. The theme icon for all the themes is the "Cheapy head."

no offense, but I'd prefer the themes in the forum colors... too much green and too little grey...

I was actually going to be making a theme in the coming month and look what you've done >_< ;)

Well, the idea is that a lot of people who have PS3s also have big shiny HDTVs and want shiny, colorful things for them. Maybe we'll do a CAGGrey theme someday.

Speaking of muted themes...here's a look at one of the prototypes for the CAG theme:

If most of the theme is just the wallpaper, how about releasing those separately?

It would've been cool to see custom Banky icons for these themes, but that's way too much work (50+ icons) to ask of one person.

A picture of people rushing for black friday deals would be nice... and then custom icons. I'm more about the custom icons than I am about the background for same reasons of what tanuki said.

Oh boy. I'm feeling pretty good about my decision to just hang out at the house during all of that.

Strange, it doesn't work like most other sites that offer up themes. I guess the only way is to do it manually with a thumb drive, SD card, or whatever you have to get it from the PC to the PS3.

This is it. This is the tipping point in the Console War.

The only way for Microsoft to recover is to get the exclusive Cheapy & Wombat: Rebooting Your Face side-scrolling, beat-'em-up journey through all sorts of CAG-y locales.

Seriously, I think it should at least be a Flash game for PC. Imagine getting the "devil customer" power up and kicking "Blue Shirt" ass left and right! Imagine knocking over magazine racks in "GameScams" to uncover hidden passages! Imagine 'assists' from CAGs during boss fights!

Whoever's got the talent and the time, there's the idea. You gotta use WSB's art assets, though, natch.
