ZIA Records - Cheap Used Games, AZ & Las Vegas

Tigerman

CAGiversary!
I went into a record store called ZIA Records today (ziarecords.com) and saw a bunch of great stuff and ended up buying a whole lot too. Their used stuff is a pretty good deal, but their new stuff can be a ripoff (they sold me a Wii for $299).

Anyways, on to the good part:

I walked out with the following (all used), not including the Wii:

Mortal Kombat (Sega Genesis) $1.99
fuck Shaq Fu fuck (SNES) $1.99
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (VHS) $0.99

and my pride and joy of today's shopping:

Sega Dreamcast black Sega Sports Edition w/ 2 controllers, 2 Virtual Memory Units, all the cords, and a rumble pack for $21.99

I really like that they had a bunch of classic games for prices I was more than willing to pay. I highly recommend checking them out. After looking on the website, though, it seems they have various locations in Arizona, and one in Las Vegas, but nowhere else yet.

This is obviously a YMMV type of thing.

I didn't know they sold video games. I've gone to Zia a few times but it's located in a poor neighborhood over here so I try to avoid it. That being said, I may have to go on down there and see what they have.

Back when I lived in Tempe I used to go to Zia all the time. They never had a whole lot of games, but I did get a non-GH Symphony of the Night and a copy of Tales of Destiny 2 for $9.99 each.

They also had insanely good DVD deals. It's definitely worth checking them out if you have one nearby.

They do have great deals i had forgotten about them since i moved away from the one i was close to but i gotta check them out. I remember buying Mercenaries used there when it brand new for 15 dollars. Curious to see there 360 deals now.

I go to the Zia on Prince in Tucson, they're used prices are great but they sell most of their Blu Rays MSRP (40 bucks) it blows.

woah, Zia sells games now? I used to buy all my used cds there when I lived in Phoenix. They used to give pretty good trade in credit on used cds, not sure if they still do as it's been 8 years since I've been in one.

I dropped by the Las Vegas Zia a couple weeks ago, and while they do have an assort of games, there wasn't much interesting and most everything was on the higher end pricewise (in contrast to the music side of things, where Zia is pretty much the best place locally for physical CDs/LPs).

yeah Zia is pretty much amazing. I get all my CD's and some DVD's there. I go to the downtown Tempe AZ one. They give pretty good deals on trading in CD's as well.

I love Zia's, I was in Phoenix last summer and got a bunch of good deals. I did notice that there prices varied from store to store. I got Dream Girls (Don't ask me why) on Blu-Ray for $5.99, another store wanted $12.99, while another wanted $14.99. They did have games and I got Ghost Recon (360) for $7.00. Most of the good deals was the Zia closest to Christown Mall in Phoenix in the shitty neighborhood.

I go to the Zia in Tucson on Speedway and Tucson blvd for all of my CDs. The game prices are shit though. I regularly see used PS2 gh games that are selling at $30 and stuff like that.
