Is Icon worth the 8.96 for PS3? Armored Core 4 looks tempting too but I dont want to fall into the trap of buying medicore games Ill never play.
 
OK, so I'll ask the same question in this thread, in case the other one dies out and I don't get a response...
Now that my son also has a DS, I find I can't just pick up one game w/o thinking whether or not I should pick up two. Would it be a good idea for either Custom Robo Arena or Lunar Knights? CRA is more his type of game, can't really see me playing through that heavily, while LK is more my speed. One of each and go for singlecart multiplay? I'd like to play CRA w/ him, not sure I'd care for the whole singleplayer campaign...

I had alot of fun with armored core 4 on x360. If you've enjoyed previous installments in the series, you'll enjoy this one. Even if you haven't played AC but like faster-paced mech combat games it's well worth $17.
 
Alas another "copy and paste" list for FW and SD.
We continue to make it easier for them and harder for members to track down titles.

Thanks for the consolidation. I picked up NBA Street Homecourt PS3 (was the last one at the CC in Stevenson Ranch), and NHL 2k7 for Xbox 360 for $8.96 apiece. Might add that latter to the list; it's marked at $16.96, but rings up at $8.96.

Also found an Xbox 360 wireless adapter for half off on their open box table!
 
I picked up GTA San Andreas for this price today. Sale was not supposed to start till Sunday but if it's marked a price they have to honor it. Hot Coffee anyone. lol
 
So the sale doesn't start today 1/4/08 but instead starts on Sunday? I thought clearances at CC started on Fridays.

The $9 is a clearence of clearence games as shown in the sunday paper for the 6th. For whatever reason cc marked down some (all?) the games early.
 
I wonder if there will be more games than this available since doesn't the ad say "100's of titles" or some such rubbish? Anyway, I got the two games I wanted the most (Yakuza and Project Sylpheed) so I'm happy, though I may swing by and see if they have anything else worthwhile.

They are probably including games from the past $8.96 sale in 2006 many of which are still $8.96

Had both of those in my hand today, but held off since I thought they were still $8.96. Darn.

I can confirm that Valkyrie Profile 2 for the PS2 is still $16.96. Was hoping it dropped to $8.96 but no dice. Still picked it up. How have you guys been going about getting price adjustments for the the games that lower in price, esp. if it was the last one in stock?
 
alas, the only circuit city within an hour of me was one the ones closed last year.

if anyone could pick me up a copy of condemned for $8.96 i'd gladly pay cost + shipping + a few bucks for the trouble.
 
The game shelves at my local Circuit City's are completely disorganized (another reason for their lousy performance compared to Best Buy). Thinking if I want to spend 30 minutes flipping through all the games at Circuit City to see if I can find any of the ones I want. Even at $8.96, taking into account the value of my time, these games will cost me plenty. [sigh]

Thanks OP, picked up Project SIlpheed, Tiger Woods 07, Chocobo Tales and Children of Mana tonight. Passed on Custom Robo (didn't like the cube version) and Bullet Witch (already finished that 5 times, but I do love that game).
