Here ya go.

Rice.jpg

There's gotta be a couple hundred grains there.

The average grain of rice weighs 30mg, which is 33 grains per gram, which is 33,000 grains per kilogram. According to Google, a kilogram of rice in Africa can be purchased for 47 cents. That means 702 grains per cent. Instead of doing this for ten minutes a day, you can work at a $6/hour job for ten minutes, make $1.00 USD and donate 70,000 grains by donating the money directly. I couldn't imagine how many hours it'd take to earn 70,000 grains with this site...

I'll share the link with my roommate, though. She's an English word nerd and used to work for Greenpeace, so this seems right up her alley.

Wow. Who would've thought there'd be such a negative response to such a great site. Spam, this certainly is not.

Yeah I just wish I was smart enough to play this quick. I usually just google the damn words. As long as I'm doing something to help, it works out.

Seems like the site has almost reached 400,000 kg of rice donated. Pretty darn good.

70,000 grains isn't that hard. If you set up an auto-clicking script thingy to do it for you overnight. My friend does it often and makes about 75k grains overnight.

My roommate spent about an hour playing it yesterday and she had earned 16,000 grains, or monetarily $0.22 USD.
nice, hey are you darkrider from reward1? great guide if you are
Yes, I am. Thanks for the compliment :).

I actually know people who use free rice to get better with their vocab and give at the same time. As little as it is, it's something. If some people want to just give money they can, but others like doing it this way.

Yea after seeing numbers, I could do better just doing a free site, ebaying it then donating money.... much more efficient. Thing is I'm sure these places make a nice chunk themselves from ads and only donate a small portion I'm sure.

updated links, organized, and added new ones if you have any new links you like to add post them in this thread or pm me

You don't really need to bump this, esp. if you can't update/fix the OP.
