Free Year of Games For Windows Mag.

I already have a GFW subscription, if I fill this out will it stack on to the sub I already have?

Hey, got this last year :) Good to see I can keep it goin again. Wasn;t very impressed with the magazine... wouldn't order a subscription but it's worth a read for free

highly doubtful, games for windows wants you to be added as a subscriber...it means they can jack their prices for ad space.

I haven't gotten a single piece of spam mail because of this offer. They give out free subs. because they hope the print ad. revenue will offset the print/ship costs to them.
 
I did this awhile ago, and have been recieveing it for a few months, I actually just got another issue in the mail today - but yeah, 100% legit.

Ditto. Between the free magazines forum here and the one on Slickdeals, we get 10-12 different magazines for free and have never gotten a piece of junk mail related to them. It doesn't really matter what email address you give; I give one of my spam addresses.
 
I signed up for this about 4 months ago, and although it takes a while for you to first get a copy, you eventually will. It was sort of a hassle to have them roll-over the 1 year free subscription to my current one. That took about a month before they got back to me with everything settled.

I'd do it again, but November 2009 is a long ways off. The magazine is pretty good, but I'd have to say that their podcast is much better, and it's free.

God no. I'd never see it then. I think cheap-as-free gaming magazine subscriptions should count as video game deals.

And thanks OP. Already had about a year on my sub, and if this adds another year to it I'll be happy. They're my favorite PC gaming magazine.
 
Thanks OP. My PC isn't exactly up to date, so I won't really be able to play most or any of the games. But should be some good reading material when I drop the kids off at the pool. ;)

This is one of the reasons that thread exists. This isn't a video game deal and doesn't belong in this forum. The magazine thread is a one-stop destination for ALL mag deals. These threads are always popping up and they're unecessary clutter. It's easy, really. Want a free mag sub, go to the free mag thread.
 
I extended my subscription, it's by far my favorite gaming magazine.

I also highly reccomend the podcast, which is also free of course.
 
I signed up for this the last time someone posted this free deal, but I've yet to receive a single issue of GFW. Can't remember how long ago it was. Guess I'll do it again, thanks OP.

yeah GFW is a very good magazine, Podcasts are cool 2...but I dont listen to them much.

I've used this site to get free magazines (including GFW) in the past. I HAVE gotten some junk mail due to this as well, but I look at it as free bird cage liner... :)

And I just checked out the main mag thread, and it's freaking amazing. I'm about to sign up for free for Game Developer Magazine (I recently decided I want to get into the games industry as a programmer), and they charge $50 a year!!!!!
