Bad Religion last night, Burns like Fire and Polar Bear Club opened. Awesome show, especially Bad Religion. Have been a big fan since the early 90's, but first time seeing the live. Put on a great show with a great set list.

All the times I've seen Bad Religion they have always put on a great show. Do you remember the set list?

Those Who Lie Beneath
Bloodhunger
Phalgeron
Funeral Age
Theories
Nile

Fuck me did Nile play a long time. Performed a one hour set, took a ten minute break, then performed another hour. Well worth admission price.

By four o'clock I've discounted suicide in favor of killing everyone else in the entire world instead.

Huh. I've seen them three times, and I don't think I've ever seen them play a song from Gray Race.

Last two concerts I saw was Enter The Haggis and Wishbone Ash. They were one day apart.

Enter The Haggis- They are a roots rock/celtic band. They played good, except they need to change up their setlist. Played the same songs as last time I seen them besides new stuff.

Wishbone Ash- They fucking killed it. Started off playing Argus in it's entirety and then took and break and played another or so hour. Great musicianship 40 years later still.

MUSE.
Las Vegas.
Amazing.

Flying into Washington tomorrow and I'm seated right next to the engine, but I'll be able to sleep soundly after that.

I saw Muse in Tampa. They were indeed awesome. Much better than the last time I saw them opening up for U2. They did not want to be there

KMFDM with Legion Within. KMFDM was delightful like always, but the lead singer of Legion Within is no goddamn Raymond Watts and hearing him do Anarchy was like having my senses torn apart by cactus's.

Body Betrayal
Hysterics
The Need
Behead The Prophet, No Lord Shall Live

What a rager. BTPNSLS still rips after all these years. I also love how they went on hiatus for 15 years and the only reason they started playing again this year was someone asked them to.

Cool. I'd definitely would like to see KMFDM once in my life. I rarely listen to them as their music isn't my thing but I'd still like to check them out live. It probably isn't relevant to me but as a fan such as yourself is the setlist satisfactory. Just wondering cause they have released many albums and I can see some people not necessarily wanting a concert leaning on the newer material.

They usually do like a 90 minute set, but I'd say it's half new stuff (meaning stuff from their permanent line up now with Lucia, Jules on guitar, etc.) and the other half is like more of the 90's songs. Things like Megalomaniac, Drug Against War, D.I.Y. and their newer songs sound much better live. Kunst in particular is just stupid fun to sing and get into even if you never heard that album since...yeah...

Saw the Metal Alliance Tour tonight with Anthrax, Exodus, High on Fire, Municipal Waste and Holy Grail. One of Anthrax's encore songs was "I'm the Man" so that alone made it worth it.

I'm seeing this in Philly in a couple weeks. Love that Anthrax is playing March of the S.O.D., too bad they don't continue it with Sargent D and the S.O.D. The one thing about this tour that really pisses me off is that High on Fire isn't playing the Philly date and Shadows Fall is stepping in for them, a terrible replacement since I bought tickets specifically for Anthrax and HoF.

Yeah, it's such a weird replacement considering HoF brought some variety to the show and so it wasn't pure thrash. Speaking of which, Shadows Fall's guitarist who is their temporary live guitarist looked so out of place seeing them live. Since he remains so calm during solos and kept to just one expression, not complaining, but you can tell with his lack of interaction. Meanwhile Jon Dette did a hell of a job replacing Charlie on drums.

Wow, 'March of the S.O.D' too awesome!

Oh man, that sucks there is no HoF! :( They always put on a killer show too!

I've seen Shadows Fall a few times and they were not horrible, just not memorable.

Exactly, HoF still would be appreciated by the Thrash crowd and not be Overkill (oh look what I did there ;) )

Oh and HoF also had some of the best merch there without a doubt. Besides the usual awesome hand drawn artwork like the ones from recent covers (which looked amazing on a baseball tee) they also had a shirt and hoodie with Richard Pryor's face and below it said "High on Fire". It was so simple, but I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it.

Saw Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel tonight. It was amazing. The crowd was great, almost nobody had phones out. Jeff told us it was one of his favorite shows so far on this tour. Everyone was singing along, which made for a great atmosphere.
