Nitrobike (Wii) - Preorder for $29.99 + shipping

Should be good. Graphics aren't spectacular, but it's the same development team that did Excitebike 64 which was very fun. I'll probably pick it up at some point this summer.

You just made sure I wouldn't get it. Maybe I'm missing some important gameplay aspect or something, but I find Excitebike 64 to be unplayable. I did when it came out, and I actually went back about five months ago to try it and had the same horrible experience. I loved Excite Truck though, so maybe I'll wait for the sequel to that.
 
This was one of the upcoming Wii games I was excited about since I really liked Excitebike 64 and loved Excitetruck (not that they made that or anything), but hearing that Nintendo Power gave it a 3.5 gives me little hope it's worth even $30.

If an IGN review or something else pops up that shows it in a more favorable/reasonable light I might bite, but until then I've got plenty of stuff to keep me busy.

Umm... I just got a copy of Petz Dogz 2 for the Wii instead of this today... WTF. The packing slip has the same order number and everything.

Same thing happened to my buddy who ordered Nitro Bike. I just about died laughing when he opened up the envelope.

One phone call and the order was fixed, but damn that was funny.

Same happened to me. It's pretty funny when you think about it...it's like they sent the exact opposite of what I ordered. The "Anti-Nitrobike", if you will.

Yep, same thing happened to me and a friend of mine. I certainly hope I get Nitrobike on the second try...
 
Yeah this happened to me too but what pisses me off is they said I won't be able to get a replacement until March 26, 2008! I'm cancelling my order. I guess it wasn't meant to be.

Lucky you...my order was cancelled and they are refunding my money. I still have to send back the Petz Dogz 2...wait, that's not too bad I guess...at least they paid shipping...
 
I'm keeping my copy of petz dogz 2 because its actually a really cool game. It reminds me of mass effect's gameplay with the gore of gears of war.
nah, they already refunded my money so I'll use it for a trade in later on. and they sent me nitrobike next day free of charge. they hooked me up, thanks amazon!
 
I found out petz dogz 2 and nitrobike have the same upc that's why some people got the wrong game. I guess people don't look at the title of the game anymore. Well I got burnt by amazon I had a change of heart and decided to wait for my order well for a 2nd time they sent "petz dogz 2" Wanted to return to get nitrobike and now they're saying they have no more. I'm going to refund it and get no more heroes.
