Basically, it is a plain base that has a Force FX blade (lights up, reacts to contact, etc.) and makes all of the sound effects (they are slightly different from the ones my Vader blade make). It comes with about 20+ parts that you cn attach to customize the lightsaber. There is also a switch that allows you to change the blade color (red, blue, and green are the available colors).
Now, these are not nearly as good as the true Force FX lightsabers. The parts are mostly plastic, and the blade is a bit shorter, though I do believe it still is longer the Yoda saber. All in all, though, for $70, I found this to be a good buy for a Star Wars fan. It is pretty cool to be able to switch the parts around every once and awhile and change the blade color. Unfortunately, though, it does not come with a stand. It seems like they were gearing this more towards kids, even though they still warn you in the instructions that you shouldn't use them for playing.

As I said, these are most certainly not as good as collector's items or display pieces. Still, for $70, it's a pretty good deal. The cheapest I have seen the regular Yoda model, the short one, is about $90, so this was a good pick-up for me, as I was in the market for another Force FX saber.
Believe it or not, one of these was actually up $115 on eBay last night, but I didn't watch the auciton, so I don't know where it ended.
