UPDATE 5/27: WAIVER MADNESS

I've done a little bit of house cleaning this week and eliminated 4 teams from each league. These teams had been inactive for some time, so I axed them and dropped all their players. Those players are all now in the free agent pool, and I've set up the waiver system in each league so that the teams at the bottom of each league get first dibs at the best players. I will get rid of the waiver system as soon as all of the new additions clear waivers.

It's going to be a bit different this year, so take note of the changes.

The contest will be run through Yahoo Sports this time around. We will have 3 20-team leagues with 17-player teams. I can add more teams if we need them.

Teams will be made up as follows:

1 each at C, 1B, 2B, 3B, & SS, 5 Outfielders, 5 Utility Players, 2 Bench Players

Each 17-player team will get points based off of Home Runs and RBI's only, with a 4 point bonus for a grand slam. No pitching stats in these leagues. Points will be tabulated on a weekly (Stats from Monday-Sunday) basis and the player across all three leagues with the most points for the week will get a pick from the prize pool (coming soon.)

TIE BREAKERS

Should two teams tie for the lead in a given week, the tie will be broken in the following method:

1. Number of Home Runs for that week.
2. Two day runoff, most points in those 2 days wins.
3. Coin Flip
In addition, the team with the most points at the all-star break and the top two teams at the end of the season will receive the following prizes:

All-Star Break Points Leader - $50 Paypal or a $50 gift card to the store of their choice.

Season End Points Leader - $100 Paypal or a $100 Gift Card

Season End 2nd Place - $50 Paypal or $50 Gift Card

We will be having live player drafts for this contest. Check the details on draft date and time when you sign up for the league.

For people having trouble, just go to the Fantasy Baseball Sign Up page on Yahoo and put the last 5 digits of the url in for the league number.
 
Tip for everyone:
In Order to signup you need to go the link above where it says you're not allowed to view the page.

The League ID is then at the top right of the page in parenthesis.
Click register now, select the one which requires user and pass.
Put the League ID in and the password as cheap and then make your team.

Question: Can we sign up for all of them? Or only one?
 
Joined the second league. Haven't really done Fantasy Baseball, but have done Basketball and Football. Hope it turns out well. =)

Because it's not intended to be a true fantasy league. I really wanted to just do HRs, but figured there would be a lot of ties to break with that method, so I threw in the RBI category as an effort to break the ties.
