Grand Theft Auto 4 360 Pre-order Contest

So I was looking at xbox360achievements.org and supposedly with the new grand theft auto 4 coming out, the xbox 360 gets a special pre-order deal.


First and foremost, there will be four free gamerpics, exclusive only to preorders and not available in any other way. In addition, there will be an exclusive game case that only preorders will receive. But the big reveal was the information that would be inside the case: instructions of how to enter an exclusive contest through xbox.com!
The prizes for this contest will be:
  • 100 Xbox 360 Elite consoles
  • 2,000 Grand Theft Auto IV apparel
  • 10,000 Microsoft Points (500 to 1600 each)
  • 10,000 Gold Memberships (1 to 12 months each)
Now if this is true, that is 22,100 prizes of various amounts, and seems like a great contest. SO hopefully it is true, and a 5 dollar deposit at EB is enough to get in on the deal.
 
wow thats awesome, im tempted to get this game and i dont even have a 360 yet! im just a huge gta fan
 
Wait does this code come with the game? Or when you preorder it? I have no interest in GTA4 whatsoever, however I would like to enter the contest.

I hope so because they have that exclusive License Plate.
 
All I know is what is on the 360achievement site, so I don't know details. I would suggest waiting for more info from an employee that views this site, or waiting for retailers to put it on their sites. However, it does say that this only works at retail stores, which leads me to believe it is a pre-order box and not in the game itself, but again, I dont know.
 
I know the GTA genres has been a great hit, but Im just not a fan of the game...but yeah I would like to enter in those contest though...maybe someone from CAG would reveal the clues on how to enter? ;)

Definition: Refers to retail shops that are located in a building as opposed to an online shopping destination, door-to-door sales, kiosk or other similar site not housed within a structure.

First time I ever heard of that term.

GTA4 is going to be da bomb. Thanks op. Ill be sure to preorder it now. Ill try gamecrazy first but ill settle for a gamestop. They are across the street from one another.
 
Eh... might just pre-order it in store. I know I'll want to play it on day one, so saving $10.00 and some tax might not be worth it (already have it pre-ordered at Family Video for $80.00). And hey, at least I'll be able to enter this contest.
