Game Boy Player- screen centering

Hey does anyone else have trouble with their GBPlayer and screen centering? So before I owned the GBPlayer, I had my GC's screen output set to 00. Everything was fine, and I didn't notice any centering issues.

When I bought my GBP, however, I noticed something when playing in full-screen mode. I could see the right side border as a bright line across the very right of the screen. To compensate, I had to adjust my GC's output to about 04 or 06 to the right. The problem is that if I go too far over, I start to notice the un-centering. But if I go too far back, the border appears again.

I think it has to do with the fact that the "border" around the GBA games (the little thin line border, not the colored backgrounds you can select... it's easiest to see on the last border, the pure black one) is shaded such that it looks like there is a virtual light source. As a result the right hand side border is a white line whereas the left hand side is a black line. If the black line is showing on the screen, you can't tell because it's black. But the white one shows up, especially when there is a dark screen as the game.

Just wondering if anyone else had seen/experienced this, or what. It's not really a big issue, if it was really a bother I could just adjust it whenever I played the GBPlayer, and set it back to 00 when I played GC games, but it looks like if I put it at 04 I can just leave it.

The GBPlayer is a pretty cool device, my only bother with it is why they couldn't just make a true "full screen" mode instead of the zoom thing. There could be black bars on the top/bottom to correct for the screen aspect ratio. On my TV (granted it's only a 14" CRT :)) the full screen mode looks just as good as the smaller mode.
