With Mario having parties, picking fights with other Nintendo characters, and delving into numerous sports, what Mario themed game would you like to see?

My two would be Mario Bowling and Mario Boxing.
 
This should be a poll. Where's Help1 when you need him...

I vote Bop-a-Mario. It could come with a specialized controller, a giant mallot and a pad and you could whak the crap out of mario when ever he pops his head out.

Both mentioned, but props for thinking of them on your own.
 
I'd definitely get a good Mario four-player co-op action-RPG, something like X-Men Legends or Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. I don't guess you could buy new armor/clothes or weapons, but you could upgrade your abilities (fireball level 5?). You could have the usual cast, with each character having different abilities: Mario and Luigi could punch and throw fireballs, Yoshi could throw eggs and use his tongue, Koopa could tuck into his shell and slide around (though I guess he'd be an enemy and not a playable character), Toad could be a healer, etc. etc. There a lot of enemies in the Mario universe, so there's no lack of material there. The story is easy: Bowser has kidnapped the princess / stolen something / damaged something / done something bad, and it's up to Mario & friends to fight their way through his hordes of minions to stop him. The Mario universe would be a nice change of pace from the usual action-RPG setting, especially since it's so colorful. It's too bad it will probably never happen, because now I'm getting excited about it.

Well I could make a thread on it, but I'd prefer to let dead topics lie. Anyhow if anyone ever gives you shit about it just tell them it had nothing to do with you it simply happened in your thread and point at us. Unless of course it is us in which case pointing won't be of much use. :lol:

But really almost everyone has forgotten about it by now so don't worry, and the thread is locked so on one can bump it up, we did make sure of that. :wink:

you know my friend makes fun of the same thing, i wish i saw this thread earlier
