As the Gears of War CAG folks know, I prefer Cocoa Puffs, though I really want Count Chocula.

The thing I hate about school is that I've got no bowls/silverware/milk, so I can't enjoy Cocoa Puffs. But when schools done in a couple weeks. Oh Lordy.

Strangely I have a freind (not in art school) who's done paintings of Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Boo Berry.
 
It's a word search puzzle. There are words going vertical and diagonal as well as horizontal, both forwards and back. There's "turn around" and "freeze" in there, for instance.
 
I'm trying so hard to care...but then images of the fatalities from Armageddon come to mind, and I suddenly hate Mortal Kombat again.
 
I enjoyed MK Armageddon, although the fatality system was garbage.

If this game really is MK vs DC then color me fucking sold. I've been dying for a good hero fighting game, this could fill in for no Marvel vs Capcom 3.
 
out of all the recent 3d ones, deception was the best. Armageddon felt like a step back IMHO. even with all the characters, the story took a huge hit with just text endings... lame!

Yea, Kotaku even has a pic up of a face off between Sub-Zero vs Batman that Mortal Kombat Online was claimed to be "leaked" to them.

Teen or not, I'd probably buy this... but what happened to Ed Boon's speech about how the next Mortal Kombat will reboot the series, get rid of most of the characters, and be the most violent game yet?
 
If there is any blood in this game I will be EXTREMELY disappointed.

That looks a little tiny to be Batman's arm. Maybe Catwoman's leg?

If it were Batman: Dark Knight Returns era, I'd understand, but I doubt that. Jesus, that has to be fake unless DC has given hope on their own games being even slightly good...
 
This could turn out pretty cool. I really enjoyed Deadly Alliance and Shaloin Monks offered up some good co-op action. If it happens, I hope they include MK Trilogy amount of characters.

Same. Honestly, though my first reaction to this is WTF it's gotta be fake, if it isn't then they damn well better not pussy out and go with a Teen rating. If MK vs. DC doesn't give me the option to kill Superman in a variety of bloody ways, then what the hell is the point?
 
Well, if that's true then any interest I would have had pretty much goes flying out the window. If I can't dismember the Flash, I'm just not that interested.

I know that, but what the hell else are you supposed to think about when faced with the idea of a Mortal Kombat vs. DC game?

A game that is being used as a vehicle to propel Mortal Kombat back into the mainstream and as a tool to boost Midway and DC's profits and revenue. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hopefully, they also make a decent game out of it, but I doubt the casual audience cares about MK at this point... however, to fix that, throw in a little Batman (who is popular again), some other DC characters, some older MK characters (this is why it's classic sub-zero already) that some of the 9 million people who bought CoD 4 remember from their childhood (because, after all, getting that many people buying your game is the holy grail), advertise the shit out of it, and pull a profit to pull Midway out of a slump and use those funds to make a really kick ass MK game.

Or MK vs DC 2.
 
I'm a DC comics nerd and will buy this. Well, unless it sucks beyond all salvation - and I don't normally prefer the Mortal Kombat series (Boon, you suck). Sinestro versus Scorpion? Sure.
 
Ah, Midway, constantly reminding me that it was a good move to sell your stock years ago.

I'm a pretty big MK fan, and this just sounds horrible to me.
