They came out with a Sega Saturn controller for the PS2 a little while ago, in Japan only. I've been looking around for a deal, Play-Asia and Lik-Sang have it for about $30 plus shipping, and a limited edition purple Darkstalkers version for $35. Is there any place that carries this for a little less, or even some place in the country that I could save a little on the shipping from? eStarland has it, but their shipping is really high too.

Play-Asia: $32.90 + $4.70 shipping

Lik-Sang: $29.99 + $7 shipping

eStarland: $31.95 + $4 shipping

Wow, I never knew those where out there. I loved the Saturn controller- It is by fer the best SF2 controller for a console. I remember lokking all over for something like this after the PS came out - I originally hated the PS controller. Sorry I cant help you with the price, but now that I know about them, I will be looking for a deal as well. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Funny you should ask about this, my friend just got the Darkstalkers controller recently at an import shop, I'll ask him how much it set him back.
It really is weird to see the Playstation logo right underneath the Sega one.

Gotta get one eventually though.
I'll probably paint over it. I wish they had this for Xbox, but I can probably just use the PS2 to Xbox adapter for it anyway.
No, I really don't... The Saturn controller is 100 times better. Its the best controller ever made. The SF controllers are cheap 3rd party crap.
lol to all statements made in the above quote.

Show me a controller thats better for 2d fighters.

The Street Fighter controller has the same layout, but its flimsy, the buttons are a little stiff, and the d-pad isn't nearly as good.

The Sega Saturn controller owns all other d-pad controllers for fighting games. I've got a Saturn-to-DC adapter for playing it on Dreamcast.

Dreamcast = best fighting game console with the worst fighting game controller.

I ended up getting the Xbox-live headset compatible Street Fighter Anniversary Joystick for my SF needs.

Agreed. Funny way of putting the fact that:

The Sega Saturn controller owns all other d-pad controllers for fighting games. I've got a Saturn-to-DC adapter for playing it on Dreamcast.

Dreamcast = best fighting game console with the worst fighting game controller. PS1/2 controllers suck hard for playing SF but are ok for Tekken, etc.

I ended up getting the Xbox-live headset compatible Street Fighter Anniversary Joystick for my SF needs.
