Need a list of all the PS1/PS2 Horror/Scary Games

So far I could think of these off the top of my head:

Clock Tower 1, 2, 3
Dino Crisis 1, 2
Fatal Frame 1, 2, 3
Haunted Ground
Obscure 1, 2
Parasite Eve 1, 2 (rpg)
Resident Evil 1 + 2 + 3 + 4, CR
Rule of Rose
Silent Hill 1 - 4
Siren

Fill in the blanks for me. Thanks. I'm think more along of the lines of action games and not RPGs.
 
I'm not sure about these since I never played them before:

Parasite Eve 1, 2
Baroque

I'm pretty sure Baroque is a RPG though.
 
Parasite Eve 1 & 2 are along the lines of what the OP is looking for. Both are good games. I don't think it's as scary as any of the RE's but worth playing.

I haven't played it yet but "Killer 7" MIGHT be on that list as well.

It's 'Haunting Ground' as opposed to 'Haunted Ground'.

You can add

Obscure
Obscure 2: The Aftermath
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
Alone in the Dark (PS2 - due out in June or July)

... and now I'm drawing a blank.

Also, Baroque and Killer 7 do not belong on the list.

killer 7 is anything but scary
 
Theres a game called Primal for ps2, i remember playing it a long time ago. Its considered horror.

Also,

Evil Dead:Hail to the King (PS1)
Evil Dead:A fistful of boomstick (Ps2)
Evil Dead:Regeneration (ps2)
 
Pretty sure Manhunt 1 & 2 were released as "horror" with only a few pieces being a tad creepy, and killer 7 wasn't horror, just bizarre..."in the name of harman"---CLASSIC!!!!
 
The suffering , manhunt (i cried while i was playing it T.T). cried while i was playing siren too T.T Galerians was a tad scary for me as well.

Galerians? Seriously?

I was too aggravated that I ran out of attacks while fighting one of the bosses and couldn't do anything more than limp around in a circle until he killed me to even get mildly scared.
 
Galerians tried to cash in on the survival horror fad and failed miserably. It's a good thing someone requested it on Goozex because it was destined for the coaster hall of fame.

I was poking fun at the way that you had your post written out requesting an email. Typically folks either a) monitor the thread for replies or b) ask for a PM (private message). We have also seen a lot of spam in the past with the same formula (i.e. resurrect an old thread with a question asking for the answer to be emailed).

No harm meant, just a bit of fun. Welcome to the boards!

Because there's no reason to have your personal email in a forum like this. You could've asked for a PM or something else.
 
hey.
i have a problem. i dont know the name of the game on ps1.
there was aliens, nlo and you had to move with alien, shoot professors, and all that kind of stuff. help!

Fistful and Regeneration aren't scary, they are straight up action games. They're no more horror than any of these other action games which has you killing demons. I can't speak for Hail to the King tho, as I haven't played it. From what I have heard of it tho, it apparently is fairly scary as it is a survival horror game taking much of its cues and gameplay from Resident Evil.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is scarier than the PS2 Evil Dead games.

EDIT: Weeeeelllll... Sunny Medows Asylum (second level in the game) in Regeneration is pretty creepy, but it's an asylum, what do you expect?

This guy did, and yeah, I thought it was pretty damn creepy with the kids dragging bloodstained wicker baskets around and stuff.

No more really come to mind, though Silent Hill 2 and Fatal Frame 2 are my favorites from that lot.
