Someone drove through A Taco Bell Bathroom...

CAGiversary!
Locally! This happened just down the block from us... but not only that, my husband's mom is the manager there. She wasn't working that night though so she couldn't give us details. So I found an article on it. Luckily my mother in law was out of town. The idiot drove through the ladies bathroom. Someone could have been hurt and it could have been anyone. Anyways, here's the article.

They need to really take licenses away from old people. Seriously. This isn't the only thing that's happened this week. Recently an 86 year old ran a red light ending up killing a father and son because of her stupidity. That's here in Wisconsin too. And then today as we were diving home from downtown there was this senile old man who had stopped dead in the middle of a lane facing the wrong way and we were heading straight for him. My hubby saw him and swerved into the next lane, luckily no one was behind us. Idiot was just sitting there looking off into space.

Anyways, I want to know what everyone else thinks of all this... I know that America is all about freedom and rights, but it seems to me that older people are just too dangerous on the road. I think it should be required of them to get retested. Heck, if they feel so discrimated against, then maybe EVERYONE should be retested every thirty years maybe, or twenty? Just to make it fair for the old blind bats that can't tell what a red light means or which is the gas or brake. I'm tired of seeing children being killed. As far as I know, the old woman from that crash survived.

I do agree that older adult drivers pose a hazard whilst driving, as these statistics show, but teens can be just as bad around these parts. In any event, all aggressive driving is hazardous. One of the reasons why I have never been in an accident or issued a ticket is because I drive defensively. Wee, common sense.
