Does the official microsoft wireless adapter work with WPA encryption?

I want to buy one for the media center that I have set up but does it work with a WPA encrypted network? I know it works with WEP...

There's a way to hack it to allow you to use WPA by flashing it with the DLink DGL-3420 firmware. Try it at your own risk.
