Wow. That is awesome.

So far I've gotten Wii Fit at regular price after cashback (overpriced on Ebay but the only place I could find it), a 30gig Zune cheap, and GH III with 2 guitars from Red Octane's ebay store. Great deals all around.

Now I have to go see what else I can get on the cheap. Thanks guys!

followed this thread way back.. but haven't checked up on it. I assume no one has been able to get the actual cash back yet?

okay read up on it some more.. so can these cashback rewards from MS be transferred as cash like into your bank acct etc? How are they to be redeemed after 60 days? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they transfer the money into your paypal account. From your paypal account you can either keep it there to spend places or transfer it to a bank account.

How long has it been taking everyone to get the money into your Microsoft accounts? I thought it was usually within an hour but mine has taken about a day so far.

I am pretty sure you are correct about the first part.

As for the second I think they're making you wait all the days now it seems like:
Aug 11, 2008 $125.00 Oct 10, 2008 (56 days left)

From my previous post just a page back...

"Also, if it doesn't show up in your account right away, there's no need to post here to ask about it because no one will know why and it's happened to many of us already. The cashback help has a link to contact them if it's not in your account by 7 days (which probably means if it's less than 7 days, it's considered normal). You'll get the cashback messages in your e-mail and eBay account very soon after your eBay transaction and if you keep those, you'll have more than enough proof to claim it with Live after those 7 days."

You can link your checking account to your live.com cashback account or send it to your paypal account. It took them over a month to get one of my cashback purchases to show up on my account. I was sweating because the only reason I bought the thing I did was because of the 25% off deal.

Looks like it's down to 15% now?

Mine ends in two days. It looks simple enough though. Hit the "Pay Me" button and it sends the money to your bank account/paypal/whatever.

I know the terms now state that it is up to six transactions per e-bay/live.com account but has anyone who originally done three had any success with adding three more recently? Just wondering before I try to add on three more purchases. Thanks!

looks like 25% off may be dead; it's 15% off now - I knew I should've pounced on that Halo 3 Legendary Edition auction last night....:(

the percent has been fluctuating since it started. My guess is its throttling back during high traffic days [weekends].

I'd like to hear the answer to this, too.

hey guys Found out you can get 40% and 5 dollar bonus on first purchase using cashback with hotmoviesale

5 dollar bonus again but i think you would need to register with another name when purchasing again.

but even without the 5 dollars its 40% while cashback is active.

I guess its only for games then? Thought you meant for anything, the eBay discount. I'll look more later at it and see if there's any games I may get.

Use live.com search for eBay, not the cashback search.
Don't search for what you actually want until after you click the cashback link. Read through the past 2 pages for search words.

Does this count for 1 game or the total purchase? Also, is there any way to confirm that it works after you make your purchase?

well i did it for a newegg purchase
and it worked fine.
the 40% works with anything you find on http://search.live.com/cashback with hotmoviesale as one of the sellers.

THe hotmoviesale site seems VERY iffy. Fine prints say it'll automatically register you for a 7 days trial with SmartSavingsCenter that'll cost $20 a month if you dont' cancel in time. And will cancel your DVD order at hotmoviesale if you cancel the purchase before the order got processed. Wonder has anyone successfully cancelled their SmartSavingsCenter trial.

well that's to get the 5 dollars with the 40% cashback which i believe is still valid
even if you don't select that

Yea anyone find a way to disable that? I REALLY don't feel like giving some weird company authority to charge me $20 a month. Maybe it'll be hell to cancel that account. :)

I remember reading this question but don't think anyone replied.

If you have the cashback pay you through PayPal, will you get hit with PayPal fees (assuming you have a "business" account or whichever one it is that you charged a fee for accepting payments)?
