Why is it annoying?
its annoying me cause I get tired of people complaining about games not coming to their platform....then you got those $$$s who are saying "well economically blah blah blah i suck dick" and dont know what the fuck they are talking about. idk, i think its the fact that is been going on for a loooooooooooooooooong time and once its over some douche decides to bring it back up again and again and again. i try to stay out of the 360 forums but some times it leaks over to to the ps3 forums. i know, its stupid that it gets to me but it does after repeated threads and convos.

ANYWAYS, anyone know how to make MGO less laggy? should i play though a wired connection?

Wireless is plenty fast to handle your internet. You might want to check how well the PS3 is connecting though, and see what NAT type you're running. Check the PS3 manual for some info on that stuff. Or Google.

i got NAT Type 2...it seems to only lag for me on Resistance and MGO but not on CoD4 or GTA4

I GOT SOME GAMEZ:

Gunpey DS- 2.99 lol

METAL GEAR SOLID 4 LE- Oh my, this thing is stunning. Can't wait to play.
AND:
Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection.

Guess what I'm doing this summer?
Is Assassin's Creed for 360 worth $18? It's up on Gamefly again.
in my opinion: NO

but to others it might....i thought the game was terrible. it had a great concept but it was VERY repetitive.

IMO on AC for $18, is very worth it.

I'm weird like that. I powered through AC in 2 days and didn't think of anything in the game being repetitive, I enjoyed all of it very much.

? how?! you have to do the same shit (sure you can do them in a different order) over and over and over in every single stage! steal this, kill that, run away from them. i got bored off my ass by the 3rd stage and had to force myself to playthough it....eh, ether way eveyone has their on taste

No.
Please leave that crap out of the GGT. It's best to not make fun of people or we'll be seeing it go. It's best to keep it to PMs, IM, etc. if you want to make fun of people. You, Thomas, and others are all my PSN friends anyway. And if I need to exile people on my friends list for making me angry (or other things), I do it without hesitation.
Don't tell me what to do. If you want to remove me from your friends list go ahead dude, I'm not going to beg you or act like that's a huge threat/deal to me. Go out and get a life srsly.
I got DMC 4 from Gamefly. Still thinking about Burnout. Any opinions on it?
I thought it was okay, I did not care for the free roam crap, and the DJ. Other then that it was pretty fun, if you can get it for cheap go for it.
i got NAT Type 2...it seems to only lag for me on Resistance and MGO but not on CoD4 or GTA4
That is odd, because I have never lagged in Resistance at all.

Burnout Paradise is well worth the $20 I think. The demo isn't anywhere near as polished as the real game I don't think. It plays well and is a lot of fun. My $30 I spent on it was well worth it, I think.

yup, you just have to create a virtual PS1 memory card like you do a PS2 one.

Pretty slick. Just have to remember to assign the cards to the slots if you're jumping back and forth between PS2 games and PS1 games.
Lego Indy isn't as good as Lego Star Wars...
I've been hearing that all over the place. The new Indy film is kind of meh as well, so it's only appropriate, I guess...

Gone back to the FFVII fanart. deviantART was being sooo slow this morning -_-

$20 burnout paradise on 360 is tempting.. but I kind of want the PS3 version for some reason?

Not having gold right now is a good reason.

PS3 is the lead platform for it, so that sorta makes sense.

I wanted it on there too, except I could never play burnout with that controller.
Is Assassin's Creed for 360 worth $18? It's up on Gamefly again.
It's cool at first, but the game gets very repetitive. Still, I loved the setting so...$18 seems about right.

We already had a discussion on AIM about it happening somewhere on the forum, and that's why it should not happen in the GGT also. Just be lucky your post wasn't removed.

ANYWAYS, anyone know how to make MGO less laggy? should i play though a wired connection?
I pretty much agree. There are certain games I feel which are best to go multi-platform (Soul Calibur, Madden, licensed games, etc.), but I feel every platform deserves their own third party exclusives. Every platform is unique in some way, and it's always nice to see what a third party developer can do to specially utilize a particular platform. I prefer all platforms to have their own system defining games and keep them exclusive. Makes every console more special to me, and it keeps competition healthy (so a decent amount of people will buy each platform to get great games) IMO. Every platform I purchased, had a unique third party game that makes a console/handheld feel special to me. I'll admit I badly wanted NiGHTs and had no Wii. But since I badly wanted it, I bought a Wii, and then bought other games I wanted or had interests in (glad I did).
Are you able to save PS1 games on dat PS Triple? If not I'm going to be very pissed...
I won't be able to play MGS1...
Yeah, you can. I created 12 Virtual PS1 memory cards myself and use them a lot. :D

As for Assassin's Creed, I always considered, but I don't think I'll have time to play it.

Played an hour and a bit of MGS1. Wow, its amazing to think how different it looks from MGS1 to MGS4. Seems pretty awesome though.
Right now I'm (even though its a super old game, I'll use spoilers)
Trying to rescue DAT President (but its seems like they killed him). I went up to the 1st floor and I'm trying to figure out how to get a higher level key card, which I'm assuming is what needs to be done to advance through B2.
Question: Are there stealth moves in MGS1? What usually happens is a try to shoot somebody and everybody hears and I die, because I don't know how to do a stealth kill...

Yeah, it's best just to ignore it, and to stay out of forums for consoles you don't own.

No need to waste time and effort getting annoyed over video games.

Some of us just takes games way too seriously sometimes.

i own a 360 and ps3

but i agree with ya that i should just ignore it

Yeah, in that case, just don't waste time getting annoyed by that stuff. It's especially silly when you own both and thus I assume aren't' a raging fanboy who has that motivation to get upset and argue over something as silly as video game exclusivity.
Some of us just takes games way too seriously sometimes.
Completely. I play games to relax and destress--so I'm certainly not going to get so emotionally invested in games (or game companies!) to the point that I get in argument and get stressed out over it.

It's a hobby I enjoy as it helps me relax. That's a seriously as I take it.

You need a silencer on your gun to shoot people and not have others hear. Until then, just run up behind them and snap their necks.

You need to blow up the different colored walls with C4 to get through that section.

Make sure you not pressing the stick either or you'll just flip them over.

Just placed a monoprice order. When my bill there comes to $45, I have to wonder what it would've been at like Best Buy or something. ;)

I was going to hit up AX this year with a friend to run a panel but we decided to back due to cost of traveling and a massive fourth of July party.

Hitting up Otakon instead since it's 15 minutes away, plus free admission is always a plus.

Just finished Act 2 on MGS4 and loving every minute.

I think I'm halfway through act 4 in MGS
beat Crying Wolf, but the chapter keeps going and there's only one act left and more baddies to fell, so...
. This game is crazy!

As for the story, I'm enjoying it so far. I missed out on 2 & 3, but I think things are coherent enough all things considered, and the only parts of the story that I find contrived is
when Drebin fills out the B&B bosses backstory every time you beat 'em--it's nice to know about the characters, but the execution is a little cheesy, IMO
.

I'll probably pick up again after I come back from my trip, though. Need to finish packing and stuff. I might pop in a quick PSP game or something before bed if I have time...

Doing things like defending companies or games on messageboards, I think, is too ridiculous.

But when I'm in tourney mode, I will get mad when I lose, I will invest a serious amount of time poring over strategies, watching videos, and practicing, I will obsess over it to be the best. And in that respect, I think some people need to take games MORE seriously.
I just finished Act 3 in MGS4

:(
Is that the act where
Ocelot kills Snake and steals his arm and then becomes known as Liquid Solid Ocelot?

I need to eventually pick up Yakuza since I know it's so damn good... mainly so I can play Yakuza II. Thank god it's getting the Japanese audio the first one badly needed.

I didn't think I'd like the Haruhi anime, but after watching it, I'm glad I did.

The story is so out there/weird and put together in an interesting way (out of order)... and has lots of allusions to some other stuf (Phoenix Wright) etc... So yea, It earned a place on my desk. lol.

NES YO.

I will admit, before I got into it. I thought lullagramz about it. I also think Aya Hirano is cute though... so yea, something might be wrong with me...
