Also, THE C(SN)AKE IS A LIE!

This is a triumph
I'm making a note here: I LOVE SOLID SNAKE
It's hard to overstate my huge man-crush
Metal Gear Solid
Snake does what he must, to save the world
For the good of Otocon
And The Boss is still dead

But there's no use crying over the end of Solid Snake
Konami will make a sequel with Raiden for Christ's sake
And the game will get played
And Kojima will get payed
And Snake will still be alive

I'm not even angry
I'm just really confused right now
Even tho I read the entire Database
And played all the games
Except for Acids, those don't count anyway
And now I'm finished I'm sad because I didn't get the Chicken Emblem

And now these babes that you fight make for pretty nice pics
Because their clothing is so tight it gives us pretty hard dicks
And even tho they're dead and out of luck
They sure are annoying as fuck
But Snake is smiling and still very alive

So go ahead and kill Liquid again
I think Drebin prefers to be a douche
Maybe he's really just a homosexual
Or maybe he loves monkeys?
That's for real dog. Yo. Fer shizzle.
Anyway, this game is great, its so fun and real pretty

Look at me still talking with there's emblems to find
When I think of the plot it makes me loose my freaking mind
There are pictures I can take
But no cake that I can bake
But Solid Snake will always be alive.

And believe me, Snake is still alive
He's killing things, and Snake is still alive
He may be old, but Snake is still alive
And when Raiden's whining Snake will be still alive
And when you're dying, Snake will be still alive
Snake's alive!
Still alive.
Snake? SNAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!!!

Etrian Odyssey 2?
Or the original?
Etrian Odyssey was too difficult for me.
I'm a tenderfoot. :{
I still haven't even gotten through the first Act of MGS4. I just can't get into it.

How is that Etrian Odyssey game?
Not as good as MGS4, that's for damn sure

Dos. I know I won't be able to find the first anywhere.

I really want to play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory again for some reason.

Etrian Odyssey was basically Shin Megami Tensei, but with none of the cool stuff like the setting, story, demons, etc.

I remember playing the MMBN games.

First one I played was 2 and I liked it. Then I played 3 and liked it, but I couldn't be the very last boss.

You would be a lightfoot.

And I also want to pick up etrian odyssey 2 as well, but there are like 5 other ds games I'd like to have as well. ;)
Anyone played Soul Bubbles? I'm thinking about getting a new handheld game for when everything is in boxes for the move :p
I have it, it's a lot of fun, but very very easy. I hope they make a sequel that is tougher since the game's mechanics are great.

Is Disgaea PS2 still crazy expensive? I never got very far in the PSP one when I had it and I feel like playing it again.

I always liked Makai Kingdom more.
That's so easy to say. I'd had enough of DarkSlayer's insults anyway. He can play by the rules from now on or see what happens.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Civ Rev.

Got a good amount of sleep last night... first time in a few days... ^_^

I agree SNES > NES.

But my roots are NES.

NES.

Word.

Good time to be a gamer.

PERSONA 4!

FIGHTING GAMES!

LOLZ SONY! So anal.

It's been a while since I played 3 so I can't remember the last boss that well... I know I did beat him a few times.

Almost everyone on the site is psyched for CT on the DS.

How do you guys feel about Lost Odyssey? It seemed too derivative to get into from the first hour.
baby got back.

that pic makes my brain hurt.
*right clicks..save picture..looks again*

yea it does

Will do, the one thing I like about it is how fast Kaim runs, it's hilarious.

Also Call of Duty 4 made me dizzy as hell.

The thing about Xbox is I've tried to deny it, but Tales, Star Ocean and Eternal Sonata beckon.

I was talking about
Bass

Seriously, it's like Kaim doesn't even wanna be in the game. He's like "aight, fuck it, Ima just run through this whole damn world like now." It's neat.

on the note of JRPG love... I can't remember the last one I've played and actually liked... I think the only one I remember last playing that still had me liking the genre was Vagrant Story...

I am playing Brave Story, but I am not expecting much since I just needed a new portable game to be playing.

I do realize I love playing Roguelikes on my PSP... it's perfect for the platform. Stuff like valhalla knights and whatnot.

Ah,
I have fought Bass so many times I forget he was a boss

I was playing that for a while. It's an okay game... My only problem so far is I keep being forced to use guest characters. So that leaves my other party members a little under leveled when I can use them again...

I was incredibly disappointed with Bioshock.

I'm intrigued by PS3 homebrew, how long until it's as easy to do as it is on PSP?

In other news, I'm playing Persona 3 right now. Only 12 hours and one full moon in. I love this game.

Was that the footage of what the game will look like? As in, it isn't a 3D remake? God I hope so. I haven't followed shit after it was announced. I love Chrono Trigger so much!

Yeah, other than environment and sound design, I could care less about it. same goes for portal.

IMHO Mass Effect was better than both those.

I still need to get Mass Effect. Love KOTOR, but the combat turns me off.

I'm gonna be so fucked when it comes endgame of Persona 3. I don't really focus on leveling any specific thing up, I just kinda go with the flow of it all.

Bioshock just was the wrong genre. The semi-twitch FPS didn't fit at all with the vibe of the place they created. I wanted to go explore, not shoot crap in every room.

Went to GS today to look around and left with Godfather Wii as an impulse purchase...keep it/return it? Also was undecided on Nba street: homecourt and katamari...any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
This is probably one of the most win topic titles in recent memory.
Agreed.

I rented godfather and liked what I played. Nba Street was always fun but I haven't played the new one, and I love Katamari on PS2.

Should I pick up Mercenaries again? I used to love that game. Is it BC? I was thinking of getting it and Leisure Suit Larry.

Still need 300 points for Chaos Theory :(

That's good to hear about godfather...but $16 for a 3rd party wii game seems a bit much :whistle2:#

I've got streetv3 on xbox and that was alot of fun...guess with achievements and online it would be worthwhile

What makes Katamari so good though? music, zaniness,...?

On the note of Mercenaries, it is bc: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm so yea, go for it

I wouldn't pay 16 for it. Take it back.

Katamari is just fun. It's nice to take a break from serious games and play something lighthearted.

Alright, sweet...a part of me wanted to hear something like that.

Return it and just get street: homecourt and katamari (just saw a video, really tempted :hot: to pick it up)?

yeah, if it played more like Oblivion I think it would have been superb.

at least Fallout 3 will do what bioshock didn't.

k, heading to GS in a bit to get rid of my crap (ie Smash... bleh)

MMBN drove me nuts. Early in the game there is a side quest, where if you bring 30 of a certain type of chip, you are promised a reward. I assumed since 30 is a lot, the reward would be great, so I spent like 5 hours finding them, burning myself out on the game. When I finally got them, the reward was something along the lines of "Buy more Ovaltine."

Jake Hunter needs personality so, so badly.
