Hmmm... I tried 3 of them and each time it says "Can't redeem your code. Please try again.". Before I've redeemed points I bought or ones that came with bundle packs. I did win some 100 pointers from Tropicana too, though, nearly a year ago - does that mean I can't redeem one of these now?

#1 taken thanks ^_^

you know people, it would be a lot easier to keep track of which ones have been used if you go in order... These have been confirmed to be used by members of the forum so far as of this post.

Try it through points.microsoft.com rather than through xbox.com.

Did you already redeem a code from the Dream Car Challenge fiasco? If you did, then that would probably be why it won't redeem for you. If not, then I have no clue why you can't redeem a code. Sorry :(

"A problem has occurred while processing your request. Please try again later."

Have these all already been used, or is M$ just being lame today?

Crisis averted. Retried and #33 is now spoken for. Thanks, OP.

I was trying it through xbox.com and just tried it on the console - neither works. I have never heard of the "Dream Car Challenge" so no on that ;).

OK, tried the points.ms deal and I got the "problem processing your request" message too ;).

WTF? I keep getting "A problem has occurred
A problem has occurred while processing your request. Please try again later."

It isn't that I'm upset about missing out on 100 points, I just want to know why my account appears hosed relative to everyone else's...

Bad luck I guess. Try inputting another code to see if that works. Someone may have already redeemed the code you tried.

I've tried about 10-15 of them - unless lurkers really got to them all already. As I said above, it's not the points I care about - I just want to know why my account won't redeem. Now if I buy points cards will I have the same damn problem?

I don't think you will because you redeem the points cards on XBL, not on the weird little website that they have you redeem them here. Are you sure that all of the ones you tried weren't redeemed already? Try at least a few more or at least one code over and over again, cause the site may be lagging.

Oh well, I give up. I guess MS doesn't like me. Thanks for the post, though, OP - it seems many CAGs were able to get this to work.

Well, I am entering my codes I got from when the deals was unlimited, and the site just like gave out, and is giving me the same error as you. The error was happening before, and then I was able to enter codes during a relatively brief window, but now the error is occuring again :( But, yea, that probably means that the codes are valid :)

Umm....ok....that actually doesn't help the problems others are having on the points redeem site, but thanks for posting that anyways...

Basically IO, people created dozens of fake accounts onto the contest site to get microsoft points. They didn't bother to read that you could have gotten 2000 points with ONE account, ad didn't have to resort to such tactics in order to get the points. Microsoft caught on and ran out of points, but they are going to award points to the ones who were real at the end of the contest.

I tried about 20 of them via that site fairly early. At this point, though, you are probably right - they've been snatched by lurkers. It gives me the same error if I try a code already confirmed as claimed.

That's weird. I just tried #31 and the site worked for me. Told me that it had been redeemed ;).
is it too late to sign up at that site and get points yourself?
No it isn't. But its going to take a while because Microsoft has to reload their points and send them to the people who didn't receive them when they signed up for real.
ya cuz i just signed up and they sent me a code.. but i get the error when i try to input it
Wait, they sent you a code? With the email? It wasn't blank?

It's not blank, but the codes only work 1 per xbox account so it's useless.
