First rule about CAG FIGHT CLUB....

KEEP THE FIGHTING GAME SPIRIT STRONG!!!

Hello everyone. This will be the start of something beautiful and in the future we'd be able to look back on this thread and think... This is why we love FIGHTING GAMES.

COMPETITION. FIND IT.

This thread's purpose is to help organize CAG members that play online fighting games. Everything including casual matches, online tournament planning, to helping another CAG member get better and to better yourself.

If you can't find local competition for your favorite fighting games (which is light years better than online experience)... Then join us and evolve your GAME.

Now you ask, why don't we post this in one of the existing FIGHTER GAME THREADS? Well, for one thing this is specifically for matchmaking and all aspects of online play, nothing more, nothing less. So, let's get ready, cuz I'm gonna take you for a ride!!!! *insert crappy music* ...

I also recently started on DOA4 again as well...if you feel like adding that game (understandable if you don't.) If other people play DoA4, feel free to add me (and let me know you're from CAG.)

I need to fire up GGPO, especially if 3rd Strike is working.
 
I'll take any and all suggestions for games to be added, as long as more than one people will be on the list... so if you want a game added POST HERE!

3S works pretty good but sometimes some black bars will show up across the screen at the beginning of the round and will stay there till the end of the round.

Yeah, CST.

Quick question-- are the GGPO people thinking of adding other emulators to it? 'cause MvC2, CvS2, and Project Justice all run great on nullDC.

I'm surprised how many people are picking up Soul Calibur 4 for the PS3. How many of ya'll have mics? I'm debating whether or not to pick one up soon.
 
I'm probably going to get a PS3 mic soon. That is, once I find a decent one for $20 or less. Maybe a USB wired one, since I can't stand how Bluetooth ones feel on my ear. But I've never actually tried one that wasn't pure garbage. ;)
 
Damn.. well that's a useful bit of info to know. Bluetooth is probably a lot better, I'd assume, so I guess if I can get a decent deal on one of those, I'll bite. Otherwise, I'll be thuggin' it up with a USB.
 
I'll probably be thuggin' it up with a USB. I'll just throw one of my 6 feet USB extender cables that I bought from Monoprice. They are super handy when you have to charge a Sixaxis, because the 4 foot cable they come with blows.

Bahaha! You just solved one of my biggest problems with the ps3. Man I suck at finding solutions to simple stuff.

That is exactly what I do with my stick. Inconveniently also what I do with my USB headset... I am either going to need a wireless headset or another cable.
 
Yeah, I love the USB extender cables. I use them with my Pelican adapter too, so it's not just hanging from my USB ports on the front of my PC case or my PS3. Plus they're a buck or less at Monoprice.com, so get a bunch, because they come in handy. ;)

heads up to people that may not know:

if the roster of fighters gets healthy there's a possibility of rewards/medals being given out to CAGs who fulfill certain requirements. Nothing has been decided on, but as soon as more is known, we'll let you know.
 
Yes, RR had the great idea of putting fun titles/rewards for our fighters that participate.

Some fun, some embarrassing, some praising. Who knows!?

I'm up for T5DR. The only reason I haven't been to many Tekken nights is they're always held so late at night. Kind of hard for me to play at midnight after working all day and watching the kids...
