Hey Smash lovers! For the third event, we are ditching the do-or-die tournament format and embarking on a full season of Smash, college football style. Thanks to the help of BlueLobstah, JoeB1233, and me, this will be the most detailed and fun Smash event yet! Before we begin, let us highlight the 5 main features of this inaugural season.

Smash Headlines - In the vein of ESPN Sports Center, here you will find a recap of all major news from the past week as well as a preview of the upcoming week.
Smash Schedules - Look here to find your next opponent or your entire schedule for the season.
Smash Polls - Just like college football, players will have the opportunity to rank everyone in the season weekly. We will then use our special weighted formula to determine each person's ranking. We encourage that you participate but you are not required.
Smash Records - Wanna see all your stats, literally? In this section, players will be broken down into divisions and you can find stats regarding your overall record, winning/losing streak, rounds record, rounds record percentage, home and away records, and division record. That's a lot of records!
Smash Bowls - At the end of the season, we will have a few bowl games to commemorate the best Smashers. The most coveted bowl game, The Smash Bowl Championship Tournament, will consist of the 6 division winners duking it out for the trophy. If you would like to help create trophies, please PM me.

WEEKS 11-12
SMASH HEADLINES: Smash Bowls, Trophies, & Season Prizes

Sorry for the delay folks but we were waiting on the final Division Championship match to take place. Congratulations to all our division winners for advancing to the Smash Bowl Championship Tournament (SBCT). :applause: You may claim your personalized trophy in post #1442. Use your achievement trophy as part of your signature if you would like. :D

For those participating this week in post-season play, please make sure you understand the post-season rules. I have posted them in the OP in lime font. The Game 6 rule also applies to SBCT participants since this might be their last game of the season. Last but not least, please PM BlueLobstah & Daisydog so that we can have all Smash Bowls recorded.

Foltzie, eliter1, and I have decided to provide some prizes to the best players of this season.

1st Place - Wii Gift up to 1000 points
2nd Place - Wii Gift up to 800 points
3rd Place - Wii Gift up to 600 points

Thank you foltzie and eliter1 for your generosity.

WEEK 10
SMASH HEADLINES: Post Season is Here!

After a quiet Week 9, here comes the mind blowing Week 10! Get ready folks for some high-stakes Division Championships! 12 players enter, but only 6 will move on to the mother-of-all-bowls, the Smash Bowl Championship Tournament. Also, remember that the 2 highest ranked players in the SBCT will receive byes in the first round.

For those who are ranked but are not competing this week, start thinking about your top 3 Smash Bowl themes. Please refer to the ARCHIVES under WEEK 9 for the item themes and Smash Bowl rules.

Regardless if you're playing or not, stay tuned for this week's redemption matches along with updates on the final season Smash Polls and Smash Bowl matchups.

WEEK 9 RECAP
Yawn. Nothing to read here.

WEEK 10 PREVIEW
Let's get to the point...:D

Games of the Week Preview

#9 The Chop Suey (6-2) @ #1 Arikado (8-0): Arikado beat The Chop Suey 2-0 in Week 1 as Falco over his Marth (Game 1: one stock, Game 2: two stocks). Nine weeks later, The Chop Suey will have a chance to redeem himself against the #1 ranked CAG player of the season.

dastly75 (4-4) @ #4 maigoyume (8-0): In Week 4, maigoyume smoked dastly by 6-stocking him as Lucario and Lucas against his Toon Link and Lucario. Can dastly recover from his embarrassing loss? Dastly is 1 of only 2 players in the Division Championships who remains unranked (the other is KhaosX).

#5 evergoo (7-1) @ #6 zitanix (7-1): zitanix defeated evergoo 2-0 in Week 1 as DK over his R.O.B. (Game 1: one stock, Game 2: two stocks). This was one of the earliest and biggest upsets of the season. Both have not played one another in 1-on-1s since then so this match should be interesting.

#3 JoeB1233 (7-1) vs. #2 suko_32 (7-1): In Week 6, suko won with a 2-0 victory against Joe as D3 and Mr. G&W over his Yoshi (Game 1: one stock, Game 2: two stocks). Joe was defeated by his own main. This was a recent match so let's see who truly is on top of their game.

KhaosX (6-2) @ #7 Daisydog (6-2): Both have not played each other officially in the season. However, I do believe that they have played friendlies and Daisydog came out on top. Who will be able to handle the pressure now that stakes are on the line?

#8 BlueLobstah (6-2) @ #13 dyeknom (4-4): In Week 1, dyeknom upsetted Blue with a 2-0 victory as Pikachu and Mr. G&W against his Toon Link (Game 1: one stock, Game 2: two stocks). This match is quite unique because dyeknom has home-field advantage even though he is much lower ranked than his opponent.

Now that the Division Championships are in place, here is my list of the Top 3 Players Who Didn't Make Division Championships. I decided to compile this list because some great players were left out due to unusual circumstances. :whistle2:(

3. zerowing (5-3) - Was placed in the toughest division and lost 2 division games (1 by forfeit).
2. Mr. Beef (4-4) - Joined the season late and came in with 0-3 record. Had to win against maigoyume but lost closely.
1. Rig (5-3) - Tied with dyeknom and BlueLobstah for best division records. Unfortunately didn't make the cut due to ranking status.

WEEK 9
SMASH HEADLINES: Bye Week for Many, Smash Bowls Format, & Sandbag Bowl

Congratulations to those who have finished all 8 of their games. :applause: For those who haven't, please make sure to finish them this week or else face forfeits.

If you are one of the 15 ranked players, you're probably wondering how Smash Bowls will work. :whistle2:k Well without further ado, read the green text below to understand the format. Winners of their Division Championship will be placed in the Smash Bowl Championship Tournament (SBCT) and be excluded from these format rules.

WEEK 8 RECAP
Congratulations to evergoo for upsetting suko_32. That leaves Arikado and maigoyume as the only undefeateds left in this season. In addition, the Mr. Resetti Division deserves some serious props for being the best division in the season with a 12-5-1 record so far against cross-division opponents.

WEEK 9 PREVIEW
No exciting matches this week except Mad D @ Ingwe. I already gave them a highlight last week so that takes care of Games of the Week Preview.

Since this week is a slow and relaxing week for many, here are my Top Contenders for the Sandbag Bowl. In no particular order, here they are including their records and accolades:

 • foltzie (1-7) - Toughest schedule in the season, Founder of the Sandbag Bowl concept
 • yukine (0-8) - Undefeated in losses, Leads in red column for Kill Difference
 • Lurk (1-7) - Wants to be in the Sandbag Bowl...badly, CAG Newbie...'nuff said
 • hero101 (2-6) - Probably his only chance at a bowl, evergoo's failed apprentice
 • buttle (0-7) - Undefeated in losses, Leads in fewest Kills Scored
 • ChibiJosh (1-6) - Won only game by forfeit, Leads in fewest Kills Scored
 • Gothic Walrus (1-5) - Beat ChibiJosh, Likes sharks
 • wjhard63 (1-7) - Beat buttle, Gets pwned...hard
 • AmigoOne (2-6) - 2nd toughest season schedule, Likes nerfs like Captain Falcon

WEEK 8
SMASH HEADLINES: Final Week: We Laughed, We Cried, and Now We Continue to Fight!

All good things must come to an end, folks. This is the last true week of the season and the co-hosts would like to thank everyone for sticking around with CAG's Smash community for 8 exciting and memorable weeks. We hope you all improved during the season and continue to Smash even after the season.

As I mentioned earlier, everyone's going home a winner. Ranked players who win their Division Championship or Bowl game will receive a personalized trophy with their CAG name. Unranked players/Ranked Losers will also receive a trophy but must PM me if they want their CAG name on it. I don't wanna create personalized trophies if you aren't gonna use them. Anyways, here's an example of a personalized trophy:

Last but not least, it seems like CAGs want these high-stake matches (Division Championships & Smash Bowls) to be Best-of-5. If anybody has any qualms against this, please voice your opinion in the season thread. Otherwise, it will be Best-of-5. The format for level selection will be 2-2-1. Higher-division-ranked CAG gets first 2 home games, then Lower-division-ranked CAG gets next 2 home games, and finally Higher-division-ranked CAG gets last home game. Lower-division-ranked CAG must PM their 2 home games first.

WEEK 7 RECAP
No upsets last week but the Division Championship picture is looking a lot clearer since most of the division matches for the season are now complete. Congrats to arikado, The Chop Suey, maigoyume, dastly75, zitanix, evergoo, suko_32, JoeB1233, and Daisydog for clinching spots in the Division Championships.

As usual, don't forget to submit your Smash Polls to BlueLobstah by Wednesday 11:59 pm PDT. JoeB1233 is currently working on the Smash Records in case CAGs need it for reference.

WEEK 8 PREVIEW
Battle of the Cross Divisions: Round 3. This week is filled with tons of exhilarating matches. Even though most Division Championship matches are clinched, Smash Polls are not over yet! So everyone should still keep on trying since everybody wants to get into a good Smash Bowl.

By the way, here are the current Cross-Division Records for each division. This section will be updated as matches are completed.
(Format: Wins-Losses-Byes, Pct.)

1. Mr. Resetti Division (12-5-1, .706)
2. Little Mac Division (10-8-0, .556)
3. Knuckle Joe Division (10-9-0, .526)
4. Lakitu Division (10-9-0, .526)
5. Tingle Division (7-11-0, .389)
6. Nintendog Division (5-12-1, .294)

Games of the Week Preview:

#2 maigoyume @ #14 dallow: After 5 consecutive weeks of unranked opponents, maigoyume is facing his third straight ranked opponent. Can dallow use his lucky #13 rank and defeat him or will maigoyume prove the Smash Polls wrong by destroying dallow? Watch and see as The King of #13 Meets The King of CAG Canada.

#11 Mad D @ #15 Ingwe: Both players are out of their Division Championships but are still fighting for a higher rank and a better Bowl. Only one can have a regular season winning percentage above .500 but who will it be? Stay tuned for The Battle of the First to 4 Wins.

#4 suko_32 @ #5 evergoo: suko_32 is 2-0 against Joe's Mad Goo!!! and evergoo isn't going to let him go 3-0. This is the highest and closest ranked match of the week and both players are looking forward to this long-awaited bout. Get your caramel popcorn ready for The Quest to Get Even. Will this story have a sad or happy ending? Who knows!

#13 dyeknom @ #8 Daisydog: One is trying to stay alive in the Smash Polls while the other is trying to crack into the Top 7. Whoever wins this match will hopefully bolster them up into the ranking position they are fighting for. Therefore, this match shall be dubbed as The Search for Smash Polls Love.

NOTE:
Pardon the cheesy names. It's late and I'm tired. Besides, I created this thread and you didn't. :p

For Week 8, here are the Top 10 CAGs with the Highest Kill Difference Average Per Game. Averages were tabulated by taking the Kill Difference divided by Total Games Played. Joe provided all the stats so the credit goes to him! Thanks
for saving me time!

"I omitted instances of forfeited games (where competitors received a win or loss, but experienced no change in kill differential), and took special care to ensure that Mr. Beef and KhaosX had correct values (based only on games they played). Here we go!

 1. suko_32 (4.16667)
 2. Arikado (4.14286)
 3. maigoyume (3.71429)
 4. evergoo (3.57143)
 5. JoeB1233 (2.57143)
 6. zitanix (2.00000)
 7. Daisydog (1.71429)
 8. KhaosX (1.33333)
 9. Mr. Beef (1.00000) tie
 10. Rig (1.00000) tie
So, for those of you who are interested, these values would read as such: Per match, [competitor] increases his or her kill differential by an average of [value]. So, especially nice job to suko_32 and Arikado, who are killed around four times less than they kill per match. :applause:"

WEEK 7
SMASH HEADLINES: Week 6 - Suko takes down Joe, Week 7 - Last Division Week!
Before we recap Week 6 and preview Week 7, the co-hosts would like to get a survey on what CAGs think about post-season matches. The question is: Should they be Best-of-5 or still Best-of-3? Post-season matches include the Division Championships, Smash Bowls, and the Smash Bowl Championship Tournament. You can vote Best-of-(insert #) for certain post-season matches while Best-of-(insert different #) for the other post-season matches. Example: Best-of-5 for Smash Bowls and Smash Bowl Championship Tournament Finals and Best-of-3 for everything else. Every opinion counts, but we will put more voting weight on those who are more likely to participate in post-season play.

WEEK 6 RECAP
Congratulations to suko_32 for 'upsetting' JoeB1233 last week. He's 2-0 against Joe's Mad Goo!!! and evergoo is definitely looking forward to facing him. I really have nothing else interesting to say about Week 6 so let's move on to Week 7!

And as usual, don't forget to submit your Smash Polls to BlueLobstah by Wednesday 11:59 pm PDT. JoeB1233 is currently working on the Smash Records in case CAGs need it for reference.

WEEK 7 PREVIEW
This is the last week for division matches. I've decided to change the format a bit but here is another preview of the post-season picture for Week 10's Division Championships. If your name is not mentioned in a division, you are out of the Division Championship. NOTE: This section will be updated as games are completed. (Format: Division Rank, CAG, Division Record, Comment)

Knuckle Joe Division:
1. Arikado (4-0) - Clinched #1 berth.
2. The Chop Suey (3-1) - Clinched #2 berth.

Lakitu Division:
1. maigoyume (4-0) - Clinched #1 berth.
2. dastly75 (3-1) - Clinched #2 berth.

Little Mac Division:
1. zitanix (4-0) - Clinched #1 berth.
2. evergoo (3-1) - Clinched #2 berth.

Mr. Resetti Division:
1. suko_32 (4-0) - Clinched #1 berth.
2. JoeB1233 (3-1) - Clinched #2 berth.

Nintendog Division:
1. Daisydog (3-1) - Clinched berth. Most likely #1 due to Smash Polls. Tiebreaker over eliter1.
2. eliter1 (2-1) - Must win against KhaosX for berth.
2. KhaosX (2-1) - Must win against eliter1 for berth.

Tingle Division
1. BlueLobstah (2-1) Tiebreaker over Rig. Advantage in Smash Polls ranking.
1. dyeknom (2-1) Tiebreaker over BlueLobstah.
1. Rig (3-1) Tiebreaker over dyeknom.

Games of the Week Preview:

#13 dallow @ #1 Arikado: #13 vs. #1. Who is more likely to hold on to their defending ranked title?
#3 JoeB1233 @ #12 zerowing: Winner goes on the Division Championship while the loser is out of contention. Definitely a high stakes matchup for both.
#6 zitanix @ #15 Ingwe: Ingwe must win or else kiss his Division Championship hopes goodbye.
#9 The Chop Suey @ #5 maigoyume: The only non-division ranked match of the week. Nevertheless, the outcome of this match will still be important to Smash Polls and the post-season.

For Week 7, here are the Top 3 Upsets of the Season based on margin of ranking difference.

3. The Chop Suey d. #9 dyeknom - difference of at least 7 ranks, Week 2
2. #10 zitanix d. #2 evergoo - difference of 8 ranks, Week 1
1. zerowing d. #8 Mad D - difference of at least 8 ranks, Week 1

WEEK 6
SMASH HEADLINES: Week 5 - 40% of Games Not Played Yet, Week 6 - Two More Division Weeks!
A total of 6 games have not been played yet for Week 5 as of Monday morning. That's 40% of all the matches. Please do your part to update the co-hosts regarding your scheduling circumstances. A simple post in this thread will do.

I would also like to give special thanks to everyone who has had perfect attendance so far this season. You guys are the main reason why this season has been so successful. :applause:

Last but not least, please welcome KhaosX and Mr. Beef back into the season! KhaosX is taking over FallMoon's schedule and Mr. Beef is running TimPV3's schedule. Their participation will definitely spice up the season!

WEEK 5 RECAP
Of all the winners last week, foltzie and The Chop Suey deserve the most recognition. foltzie has finally overcome his godly schedule by winning his first match against JohnnyFoxDarko. Meanwhile, The Chop Suey was able to dethrone the King of #8, Mad D, by pulling off a very close cinderella upset.

Without further ado, here are the results of last week's cross-division matches:

Division Name (win, loss, did not play)
Knuckle Joe (2-3-0)
Lakitu (3-1-1)
Little Mac (4-1-0)
Mr. Resetti (3-2-0)
Nintendog (1-3-1)
Tingle (1-4-0)

Once again, the Little Macs (8-2 overall) and Mr. Resettis (6-2-2 overall) come out on top in another cross-division week. The Little Macs also deserve an applause for being the only division to play all their cross-division games this season. :applause:

And as usual, don't forget to check out the latest Smash Polls thanks to BlueLobstah!

WEEK 6 PREVIEW
Since there are only 2 more weeks of division matches, I've decided to give you all a preview of the post-season picture for Week 10's Division Championships.

Knuckle Joe Division:
Arikado is currently leading the division with a 3-0 record. He will earn the #1 spot in the Division Championship if he can beat dallow Week 7. In addition, The Chop Suey holds the tiebreaker over dallow.

Lakitu Division:
maigoyume has also clinched a spot for Week 10. The other available spot is still too close to call and all the other Lakitus still have a shot. Whoever wins this week's match between maigoyume and Mr. Beef will hold the tiebreaker.

Little Mac Division:
zitanix currently holds the lead but no one's claimed a Division Championship berth yet. zitanix holds the tiebreaker over evergoo, and evergoo holds the tiebreaker over Ingwe. If Ingwe beats zitanix, then we all will have a three-way tie - assuming all three players win their 3 division games. We, the co-hosts, are still discussing on how to break three-way ties in case it does happen.

Mr. Resetti Division:
suko_32 and JoeB1233 are currently tied in the division and whoever wins this week will hold the tiebreaker. If suko_32 wins, he will claim the #1 spot. If JoeB1233 wins, he will not claim a berth until he beats zerowing. zerowing is still in the picture but loses the tiebreaker to suko_32.

Nintendog Division:
Surprisingly, every Nintendog is still in the picture for Week 10. However, eliter1 currently holds the lead with a 2-0 record. The division picture will look a lot clearer after this week.

Tingle Division
Out of all the divisions, this is the most difficult to call. Everyone is still in the picture but dyeknom and BlueLobstah hold the lead with 2-1 records. Even if a Tingle goes 3-1, it's still too close to call due to various tiebreakers. The berth spots probably won't be clear until after division games have taken place in Week 7.

Games of the Week Preview:

#3 maigoyume @ #10 Mr. Beef: After evading his teammate Arikado, Mr. Beef has returned. In the last tourney, both players' teams faced each other twice with each team taking a victory. Now they can finally settle this issue and see who has the best Lucario on CAG.
#4 suko_32 @ #2 JoeB1233: There are only 5 undefeateds left but after this week, there will only be 4. More importantly, this match is crucial to obtaining home-field advantage for the Mr. Resetti Division Championship match. Get your popcorn ready because this is definitely 1 of the 2 most anticipated matches of the week!
eliter1 @ #9 Daisydog: Here's another vital division match. eliter1 is currently leading the Nintendog Division but Daisydog is higher ranked. Let's see who will take the other person's crown away.
#14 Ingwe @ #12 zerowing: Both relatively unknown Smash CAGs face off against one another in a non-division match. After losing their last game, who will be able to pick them self up and carry momentum towards next week's crucial division match?

For Week 6, here are the Top 3 CAGs Most Likely to Earn Game of the Week Honors:

2. BlueLobstah - 4 times (dyeknom, Arikado, Rig, Ingwe)
2. suko_32 - 4 times (eliter1, Mad D, zerowing, JoeB1233)
1. JoeB1233 - 5 times (Daisydog, zitanix, Mad D, dallow, suko_32)

WEEK 5
SMASH HEADLINES: Week 4 - No Upsets, Week 5 - Cross-Division Battles, Round 2
Before we begin, there were 3 incomplete games last week involving players who have already used their bye. Be on the lookout for PMs regarding the co-hosts' decisions.

Also, at the beginning of every Monday, I will PM all people who have not had their matches yet. I expect to hear your situations and depending on the reason, you may forfeit or receive an extension. Be aware that abusing extensions will lead to automatic forfeits.

WEEK 4 RECAP
There were no upsets last week but AmigoOne, Mad D, and Rig deserve some props for almost pulling them off.

The Tingles are currently in the hottest division right now with 4 players tied at 2-2. BlueLobstah and dyeknom are currently in the lead with 2-1 records in their division but dyeknom holds the tiebreaker. Let's see how this turns out in the upcoming weeks.

As usual, don't forget to check out the new Smash Polls and Smash Records by BlueLobstah and JoeB1233!

WEEK 5 PREVIEW
This week, we're doing cross-division battles again! Mr. Resettis @ Knuckle Joes, Tingles @ Little Macs, and Lakitus @ Nintendogs.

Based on Week 2's cross-division battles, the Knuckle Joe and Little Mac Divisions came out with 4 wins a piece while the Mr. Resetti Division was undefeated with 3 wins. Who will take the crown as the best division after this week?

Games of the Week Preview:

#2 JoeB1233 @ #13 dallow: JoeB1233 nearly lost last week while dallow did lose. Can dallow redeem himself against the man who has also played Dr. Mario Kart? Battle of the I-Played-Against-Dr. Mario Kart-And-Lived-To-Tell-The-Story.
#8 Mad D @ #11 The Chop Suey: Probably the closest match this week. Both gave elite CAGs a run for their money but came up short: Mad D against JoeB1233 and The Chop Suey against Arikado. Now they're facing each other. Can Mad D remain #8 for life or will The Chop Suey take his title?
#11 zerowing @ #1 Arikado Battle of the Undefeateds. Who will be the first to taint their record? This is the 3rd highly anticipated Mr. Resetti vs. Knuckle Joe match this week.
#9 BlueLobstah @ #15 Ingwe: Don't be fooled folks. This will be a close match. Both players achieved impressive, yet close, wins last week against tough opponents. Who will be able to handle the pressure this week?

For Week 5, here's a sneak peek at the Top 3 Highest Ranked Second Half Schedules. To determine this, I have decided to take the ranking average of all players' opponents using Week 4's Smash Polls. A rank of #1 = 1 pt, #2 = 2 pts, ... , Not Ranked = 16 pts.

3. AmigoOne - 7.75 ranking avg, 31 pts total (dyeknom, evergoo, Mad D, JoeB1233)
How are people assigned to divisions?
Randomly. I'll be using an RNG.

We're not doing it by regions b/c some are more populated than others, and also due to unequal distribution of competition. We all know California has the best Smashers ;).

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work on your part! I'll start off by saying thank you to you, Joe, and Blue. Second, I'm definitely in! :bouncy:

My smash name is Janet and my Friend Code is: 0473-7480-5534

Any idea for when this is starting?
Once registration is over (10 spots left), we will have one week for pre-season.

I think you forgot Ingwe. That would make it 9 spots left.

Ingwe, I thought I recognized your name on my FC list. I put you down as registered.

It just didn't make sense regarding your post count and CAG status.

Thanks for the PM, evergoo.

As it stands...I'm not officially entering...yet. If you can find enough people to fill the spots, then that's great. If you need somebody, I will gladly participate.

The only reason I hesitate is because I have a feeling it is my internet connection that didn't bode well for the last couple rounds of the previous Brawl tourney. Yes, a 1 vs. 1 match would certainly be better, but I still worry that matches with me would come down to who can fight better in the lag.

Good to hear about it starting soon but are we constrained to only one char or choose as we go?

Btw, name on brawl fc is foo
If one of the 6 opens up.
I'll join.
You're in :). Make sure to post your FC and Smash name.

No constraints at all. Just make sure to bring your A game b/c a lot of us have mains already.
Marc, can you add Izzy to my nickname for brawl, I mean I don't mind being an enigma but you know
Took care of it yesterday :p

How about we try a few games some time tonight to verify? I don't think it was your fault during the last tourney b/c we were fighting under four different time zones!

Oh, good! FallMoon signed up! I was hoping she would - I never really get to face her alone that often! I hope suko and Kado are comin'.
im talking about taking out the smash ball because it is very unfair but w/e so am i in?
You're in as long as you are willing to abide to all the rules mentioned in the OP.

The Smash Ball will be set on the lowest frequency and it does take skill to be the first to get it. We've already done two very competitive tournaments without Smash Balls. We wanted to do something new this time. Besides, the OP states the following:

"Most importantly, we want everyone to HAVE FUN! We added in home/away games and Smash Balls for a reason. Being competitive is fine, but keep it within check!"

I've already PM'd all the staple Smash players who haven't signed up yet. Let's hope they join so we can spice up the season :bouncy:

We can certainly try later tonight. Whatever time works best.

If there are still slots open, I'm interested. I'll probably be the resident whipping boy, but I think I can manage time for a few matches a week even with college (which was my main problem with the first tourney).

Also, I think we should give a shiny new copy of Donkey Kong Math to whoever comes in last. :D

Yeah, I definitely should get something for getting my ass beat for 8 weeks ;)

You're a Smash regular so you're in, regardless of skill level :p

I actually enjoy Donkey Kong Math. It's a race (controller-wise) to see who can solve the easiest arithmetic! It's not easy though when they give you 537 x 84 :whistle2:(

JohnnyFoxDarko is interested but his internet is out right now. When does this officially start, I'm speaking for him. Maybe he can get it back in time.

I will join the brawl

But like Rig I'm unsure of my connection. I'm going to need help sometime to test out my router channels. So far:

channel 01
Best success, mostly lag free. Since my wireless runs on 2.4 frequency so does the house phone and I get dropped when a call comes in. Also get some interference from the Wavebird which also runs on the same frequency.

channel 03
Wavebird lag more noticeable.

channel 06
Avoiding since it is the default channel.

channel 11
Choppy games. With this channel I get the most interference. This is the channel that I got the reputation of a sometimes lagger from Janet and probably Izzy too.

channel 05
Haven't tested online but got 17000 DL spped and 2100 upload speed! Hope it translates and stays strong.

and SSBB code 5370 0158 3393 Mad D/David

Read the Smash Headlines for all current events. The season will begin Monday, August 4th.

Glad to see you join Mad D \\:D/

BTW folks, I'm currently leaning towards 30 players in the league but I just wanted to tell you guys that I spent a lot of time yesterday setting up the entire schedule for 24 players :wall:

If the NHL can handle 30 teams, I'm sure you can too. :)

Maybe start with the extra six, then mix the matches up enough so that they don't spend the whole season playing each other?
