I believe this is actually the clearance price, and the BB in Pleasant Hill,CA says they are being discontinued, so they selling them at $8.99. They had about 15 of them sitting on a table. Might be YMMV, but if its discontinued it should be good everywhere.

don't buy it. It seriously isn't even worth $1. Horrid. Purchasing only encourages a complete lack of effort by companies. This is one of the most pathetic excuses for a decent idea I have seen in a long long time in the video game world.
