Free AMD CPU

Ok i don't know if i am posting this in the right spot but i recently had a older eMachine in my shop for repairs. Long story short the mobo and power supply is bad guy who brought it in said he was just going to buy a new PC and gave me the broke one. I've stripped most of it not like there was much there and have 1 spare AMD 1600 Athlon socket 462/A. i have no use for it and it will not pay for me to ebay it and could care less about money for it as i paid nothing for it. I don't know if it works or not as i no longer have a board of that type to test it. if anyone whould like it please let me know i think it'd cost a whole wopping $1.00 to ship it that i am not worried about. I whould just like to see it go to a good home for someone who can use it maybe for a kids PC or such

While I don't have a definitive "need" for it, I do happen to have two or three old AMD boards lying around that would do well for a system. I'm always finding people in need of these old systems and they aren't worth the money for me to sell them because people always want to call on me to service them when they go sour. If someone else doesn't come along that just outright needs it, I'd definitely be interested in it for a donor unit to a younger friend or relative who may put it to some valid use.
