Prototype of de blob game, FREE for PC.

The Blob game is now available for free on the PC.

I downloaded it yesterday from Gamespot.com, go to the downloads section and search in "Others", you should find it there.

This is the same game available for Wii (same core game, the Wii version has more modes apparently). Just saw this by accident yesterday, and tried searching the forums here but didn't find it announced, so I created this to inform some of you. I downloaded but haven't installed yet. Enjoy.

Similar to how Portal started out as that other game...can't recall the name....?

Yeah, from what I read, its not the full Wii game, but it is its own free full game.
The Wii version is longer (maybe.., I dont know as I haven't played any yet, sorry) and it was expanded upon, but still, at least worth a mention to people who want to try it out.

Narbacular Drop ... rather obscure name.
Anyhow, that original version of de Blob is fun, but the actual game is so much more than that. A friend of mine owns it (I've been waiting to find a used copy to buy with GS coupon/Edge) and the demo does not do it complete justice. This generation has been so focused on FPS (at least in terms of big name games) that this game really should not be overlooked.

I have both this and the Wii version, but they are not the same game. This free version is like an alpha build of the Wii version; they're very different.
