Shadow Hearts (original) at Frys 0.99

I was at Frys in Illinois and they had the Shadow Hearts PS2 bonus disc that you got when you prepurchased shadow hearts: covenant on sale for 0.99 cents. Good deal if you haven't played it before or are looking for fodder for trade-in.

This has been posted before, and it is very YMMV. Congrats on finding it, but it probably would be better suited for the Bragging Rights forum at this point.

Wow thats crazy that you'd find one still. Fry's is so nicely organized compared to most other stores, you'd think they cleared out the promo copies by now.

Too bad I dont have a Fry's near me or a Gamecrazy or a Kohls or whatever that store was. A lot of these deals have to do with stores not near me. Just major chains.
I am surprised that someone found one of these after the original post of this quite a few months ago! Nice score. ^_^
Agreed. I posted this way back when (was it mid December, I don't remember now) I still can't believe anyone found one this late in the game.

You're telling me. We just got a Burger King. HOW SAD IS THAT.
 Burger King, we have 2 and my towns really small.
i dont think i could begin to count how many burger kings there are within a 10 mile radius of me, probably about half the amount of Mcdonalds'

There's probably like 6 just in a 10 mile radius of me.

Does anyone else know where the next cheapest place might be to find Shadow Hearts? I've been looking for it for a while (should of got it a long time ago though) and I've been reluctant to do ebay quite yet.

i got it used for 10 bucks at a gametrader place. it was complete and mint

Do you guys think it's worth it to try Fry's (the Manhatten Beach, CA one for me) for this still? I wasn't interested before, but now I've played SH:C and want it now.

Well, I at least attempted to do a good deed today....

I stopped at Fry's this afternoon to snag a few copies for my fellow CAGers, but there were none in site. I had the clerk check inventory and sure enough, they were out of stock. Here's to hoping that a few CAGs got them instead of a @*&! ebayer.

You're a good man.

Darn wish I saw your post before I went Ravenhawk. I had to laugh tho - by the time I went the girls working there knew what I wanted as soon as I went up to the counter. They were like "I don't know what happened - they were sitting on the shelf for a long time and then all of a sudden we're sold out!" Apparently the Fry's employees don't browse this site . . . .

Figured I would mention what else I saw there :

Dark Cloud 2 (part of the 2 for $30 deal)
Disgaea ($50)
La Pucelle ($20)
Musashi Samurai Legend ($20)
Phantom Brave ($29.99)
Way of the Samurai 2 ($39.90)
Viewtiful Joe PS2 ($9.90)
Cold Winter (PS2) ($20)

I know some of these prices aren't great but they're all cheaper then Best Buy and in the case of Disgaea if might be worth it if someone wants a new sealed copy and doesn't want to go on ebay.

I checked at the Fry's in Willsonville, Oregon. The guy said once they realized that they were $.01, they sent them all back. "We just couldn't sell them at one cent." Oh well. I've only seen SH used at a few places for about $25. Bummer.
