My Xbox power button no longer works. I now have to unplug my xbox (when I am looking at the dashboard screen) when I am done playing because I cannot simply hit the power button (below the eject button) to turn off my system. While this is a minor annoyance, I do not mind too greatly as I've had my Xbox for a number of years and consider to have played my money's worth.
Will I be causing damage to my Xbox by unplugging it while it is still on? There is nothine else I can do and would like to know if I am harming the hard drive or causing any other harm to the system by unplugging it since I cannot turn it off.
I want to make it clear that I am referring to the OLD original black xbox, NOT the Xbox 360.
