Yeah... uh... still kind of freaking out about this.

I guess I took my girlfriend's merciless addiction to World of Warcraft as a good sign. Been together two years, lived together much of that time.

Cos holy shit.

Holy SHIT.

EDIT: So we're engaged :) Woot! Picture coming soon.

If your deciding between her and RE4 that's a tough one. Seriously though it'll work out, she'll love the ring, you'll have a lovely virtual ceremony in WoW, so on so forth. I'm sure if you give her RE4 and the ring she won't be able to resist.

Dont Do It!!! I was thinking about getting married but now I'm moving to Okinawa. Not that that has anything to do with you but that is my 2 cents

Dude, if you want PM me, I'll give you my phone number or you can give me yours if you don't want to call Providence RI and I'll talk you out of this horrible decision you are about to make.

Hehe, I personally will probably never get married, but do what makes you happy. Seeing that you have lived with her more than a year and can still stand each other, I guess it wouldn't be the worst idea. Good luck!
I can't even tell if this is sarcasm anymore...
I concur.

To the OP, good luck with your girlfriend (future wife?).
It's so tiny.
Of course, that probably won't be the first time you heard that.
Ba-dump-dump.

Oh, and good luck to the OP! I'm sure you are doing the right thing.

No matter how old you are....you are too young to get married.

Wait another year. Just keep everything and wait one more year. Hide the ring and wait, dear God man I beg you, wait.

I think proposing now isn't a terrible idea but waiting a year after you are engaged to seal the deal isn't a bad idea.

I'm just going to say congratualtions and good luck to the OP. And forget about all of these guys. I mean if she loves and will play WoW than that means she is a gamer and you know how rare a female gamer is. jump on it man. Good Luck again.

Listen to Jimmie, if he was in my corner, I would be better off ;)

Yeah, actually that's the plan. More like 2 years. Or whatever.

Oh don't worry, I have the other department covered quite well.
You mean she loves gaming?? MARRY HER ALREADY! Haha.
Not so much addicted to gaming, but addicted to World of Warcraft. I guess you could compare her to Gabe's wife (Penny Arcade). She digs games but doesn't play them obsessively like I do.

EDIT: May I also add that she loves the Ratchet & Clank series to death, as well as Katamari Damacy, Diablo, Fable, Contra series, Animal Crossing, and Starfox Adventures (but she was really pissed at the ending, as all of us were). She's into The Sims, as well.. but I hate that game. Oh well, gotta make some sacrifices ;)

Considering that she's likely to marry you, keeping it covered and/or under sheets won't keep your secret about your "department" very long. :)

One word dude.....

FOREVER.

Just wanted to remind you of that, I figure it's already gone through your mind having purchased the ring already (hope you got a cheap ass deal on it!). But it can never be said enough that you best be damn serious about being with her for good before the words even come out of your mouth.
Have fun!
Do not do it, take the ring back and buy you something. You will never forgive your self after you do it.
Agreed.

The question that needs to be asked; Is it a CheapAssRing?

Good luck dude. I have been dating my girl for 4 years and been living with her for 2 and I still don't have the kahunas to ask.

I call horseshit. On the way to a baby shower this afternoon, my wife and I saw a billboard on a bench...

DIVORCE $349

It's not forever, but it's cheaper than a PSP currently.

Good luck OP! Since you've been living together, I can't offer much advice. I typically tell people they should live together, and have talks about children, work and home expectations, weekends and other time spent with "non-spusal friends" (the "guys" or the "girls"), and other things that are sometimes taboo to discuss when not engaged.

You just try bringing up the topic of children to someone you aren't engaged or married to. See how fast they fly. At the same time, finding such things out is important, since your future hinges on it. I don't care how much you love someone; if you want children and they don't, it's not going to end well.

Again, good luck, and don't have some lame-shit theme wedding (which, in your case, might have been WoW).

:)

myke.

Doooooooooooooooooooooooon't do it!

You are about to sign away the rest of your life. No longer will you have the freedom to do what you want. Instead, you will become a slave.

At first, they're not so bad, then you realize that women are nothing but pure evil.

First they'll start to try to change the way you dress. Before you know it, you'll be making midnight trips to Wal-Mart to get a 12-pack of Kotex with wings.

Think long and hard about what you're fixing to do. Sure, she seems cool as hell now. Most do. But then she'll show her true form. A nastier, more evil shadow of the woman you fell in love with.

She's bi?

Marry her now! You have found an exception! Maybe she will let you watch her make sweet woman love with her girlfriends. You have found a diamond in the rough.

Do it because you want to, not because you feel you have to. If you really want to for YOU (and not your parents, or because she's pressuring you), then by all means, go for it. Just make sure you're making the right decision. Good luck dude.

Cubic Zirconia RULES!!!!!

Seriously, don't listen to the naysayers. You're the only one who knows if it's right. After 2 years you probably know. Don't worry about cold feet-it happens to everybody.
