I love the show and think that it is great. Something that they used to do but no longer do is suggest an older "Cheap Treasure" from last Gen. They did it for like two episodes and have since to do it. Segment takes like two seconds. I like all the other segments and wouldn't change a thing. Also, Wombat doing a different podcast on Comics would be interesting as well. What do you guys like or like to see them do more of?

Since I'm yet to jump into "this" gen, I would love to see the "Cheap Thrills" segment have a comeback. I would also love to see Wombat doing a comic podcast but the question arises, Who would be co-host(s)?

I know that Cheapy and I guess wombat too are busy people but when ever they get asked about a game its either pass or havent played it. It seems that they both pale in comparison to Shipwrecks encyclopedic knowledge of games. Would like to see more commentary from both of them on more games.
Have more contests!
Yeah that would be awesome. When I listened to CAG Foreplay they always seemed to have weekly contests. The last one I recall Cheapy and Wombat having was the Scene It one, and before that was that awesome GTA IV 360 contest. But than again, the guy's name is Cheapy.....nothing like living up to your name ;)

I'd like to see more discussion/shout-outs to CAG related gaming/community functions, such as the 360/PS3/Wii Gaming Nights, Folding@Home, the Diablo II/III, WoW, Guild Wars, Starcraft groups, the 360 CAG Game Lending Circle, the CAG Grifball Teams, the CAG Family Album.

Not necessarily something every single week, but maybe an update or two a month would be nice and help grow some of the community offshoots. There's a lot of good groups going on around CAG, but a few of them (particularly the gaming groups) tend to die off after a few weeks/months because of lack of interest/recognition/advertisement.

The CAGcast is awesome but is getting a bit repetitive no real innovation in the episodes

My biggest gripe is how lazy they have become, the cast seems like an obligation
They don't do a cagbag, sometimes they don't go into games because they don't feel like it, ect;

Add more of the community to the cast, sure they don't have to do it but cmon it's for your fans!

If the CAGcast wants to stay at the top and get the awards, all they need to do is keep a solid scheduel. That's really the only thing harming them. I'll bet that both the podcast award and the Child's Play funds were hurt because of the CAGcast coming out at pretty random times during the last few weeks. It seems like it's all good now though.

Keep up the good work. You're still the best podcast out there!

P.S. Cheapy, don't hesitate to do some hilighting of the community's work on the show and the front page. It would be nice to see some more CAG Featured Blogs, etc. Also bring back DLC Cheers and Tears. Thanks!

Where is this "Diablo II/III" group???
More of Shipwreck and or Mrs. Shipwreck on the show. Like each month do a super CAG show.
i second the once a month cag super show idea.

I would like the contests to come back for sure. I think it would be very hard for Wombat to do a comic book related podcast so I think that if he just talked about some comic book recommendations for about 5-10 minutes that would be great. Other than that I think the show is perfect. No other podcast makes me laugh nearly as much.

I totally agree with everyone who says that they should bring the Cheap Thrills segment back. I could also do with less of the non-gaming related chatter.

More non gaming related chatter. The non gaming stuff is what makes the show stand out. No Cheap Thrills, since I doubt the guys would want to spend time each week looking for some older game just to have people bitch about how X game would have been a better choice.

Cheap thrills (but only this gen games like stranglehold, cheapy you have not talked enugh about stranglehold) and no shipwrecks.. sorry shipwreck but i think you sound kind of boring. i love wombat sweet tune.

I started listening to the CAGcast late in the game but I have been going back and listening to all of them from the beginning. I think the tone of the show has change over time. Their lives are very different as they are both parents and generally busy. In new ones the tone sounds like they feel the CAGcast is a chore, which maybe it is with fans demanding so much. I don't think they shoudl try to cover everything in gaming from the past week and all the new releases. If they only talk about things they care about I think they would be more invested in doing the show and sound better.

There was awhile there that Cheapy was talking up Def Jam Icon for a bit. Now he would probably say that the Cheap Thrills game would be Saints Row for $19.99.

Yep Super CAG will be excellent.

100th post! :)

Overall, I think the show is great, maybe a bit more gaming talk.

Like what they were playing last week Vs. what they are playing this week and if its a different game, tell us why you're not playing last weeks anymore, and if its the same game, tell us whats keeping you playing it.
The CAGcast is awesome but is getting a bit repetitive
This.

Also I'm tired of 360 discussions about not being fanboys, we get it Cheapy loves the 360 he needs to stop talking about how he is not a fanboy. Cheapy also does mention a lot of the same games I'm sure we're all tired of hearing about Saints Row 2 by now. Baby Tai stories are interesting about half the time. A lot of their gaming coverage should stop since they say nothing relevant though I don't feel like listing the things that work and what doesn't on that. Gaming deals should be cut, I mean like they say not everyone listens to the podcast the day its released making this section irrelevant most of the time. Even if the show is called CAGcast. Don't get me wrong talk about future price drops or other similar things are ok but its mostly the "best" of the sunday ads. Thats what the forums are for unless its a huge deal skip it.

What makes the Cagcast worth listening to is the random stories of Cheapys/Wombats lives and their opinions on some of the industry news (most of the time). Talking about games is usually not that great since they both (especially cheapy) have very specific tastes which there is nothing wrong but after a listening for a while you know exactly what Cheapy will think of any game. Wombat is a bit better at least, he seems to give games more of a chance.
