Local game place is amazing...

i was out looking for the Movie Gallery for the buy 2 get 2 free and couldn't find it, but i spotted this place.

it's called Software Seconds, it has everything: japanese imports, Neo Geos, CD-is, 3DOs, Virtual Boys, Sega CDs, Genesis's, SNES's, used games, new games for all systems. it had dozens of the old PS1 long box games, tons of 3DO games, all boxed. i spent like an hour there just looking at all the games. i should be getting a job soon delivering pizzas, so i know where my money is going: old systems.

I wish I had a local store that sold imports. I use Ebay mostly for import games now but I would rather buy them in a regular store.

i'm not sure if i saw the price was listed, but maybe $99.99. the CDi was $89.99. they don't charge tax either. the Sega CDs were $59.99. they had one of the original larger Sega Genesis's for $30. i'll probably pick it up next week.

$30 for a Genesis 1 system isn't really a good price. Local game store here sells them for $14.99 apiece, and they're not the cheapest place in town...

If your local EB has them they should be $9.99

$100 for a NeoGeo's not bad. Besides, they deserve to be overpriced, since they have such rare and sexy treats.
i dont buy imports because I can not read japanese, maybe unlike the rest if u i donno.
Depending on the game, you sometimes don't need to know any Japanese. The DDR imports I have are 95% in English, from the menu to the options. Same with Keyboard Mania, Guitar Freaks, Para Para Paradise, Beatmania etc.

bahh delivering pizza's is the worest job ever, you pay for gas you pay for car insurance. there ripping you off.

You can write off gas, rapairs, and car insurance as business expenses. Or you can write off milage and insurance. You can also depreciate a portion of the cost of the car used in business over a period of time, usually 5 years, straight line. Ask your dad about it, or a tax preparer. You could actually get more of that tax money back that disappears out of your wage checks all year long if you learn how to itemize your deductions.

Every independent place in the Detroit metro area has gone out of business in the last few years. Game crazy is the closest thing to an indy now because they deal in all the retro systems.
