Is this a bootleg?

Hi all- I'm new here. I'm just an old lady (well maybe to some of you) who likes to play video games at home- not a real serious gamer.
I found this forum by searching for info on how to spot a bootleg xbox or xbox 360 disc. I'm sure I have received a couple, but only noticed AFTER I received them that they were fake (they have the hollogram, and one is even numbered- the label is a bit shiny tho, and the audio is spanish with no option to change it- lol). These guys are getting too good  Does anyone have any helpful hints on how to spot them from a picture of the disc? Anymore, I'm afraid to buy online- many fakes even come "new and factory sealed" (their factory, I guess) with all the manuals, etc inside. Thanks for any tips!

If they have the hologram they're not likely to be bootegs. Holograms are hard to reproduce. You may have landed a Latin American version with Spanish language recordings (like the Canadian market games have French language considerations). To be safe though don't buy anything from Hong Kong sellers off eBay. And beware of stuff from California sellers that seems too cheap or is "new out of box."

Just check the hologram
